Henrys Townhouse Marylebone

I chose Henry’s Townhouse while searching for a 50th birthday treat for my partner and what a find. I got so many brownie points for choosing this unique 6 bedroom beautiful house. The staff are wonderful, especially Ann, who looked after us at breakfast. On our arrival the young lady who welcomed us, (sorry I forgot your name), was aware that it was my partner’s birthday and upgraded our room, then brought us a glass of bubbly and nibbles. Such a lovely surprise. We stayed in Cassandra room and it was so beautiful and comfortable. As soon as I saw the bed I couldn’t wait to get into it after our evening out! I never heard a sound outside our room during our one night stay and didn’t want to leave the next morning after our delicious breakfast. Thank you so much for making this birthday treat so memorable. I have a big birthday next year and have already hinted to the other half..

Really lovely place to stay in London. Everything about it was amazing. The staff was so very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I’ve stayed in so many 5 star hotels in London over the years and this is by far the best experience I’ve had. It was like being home away from home. The breakfast rivals any restaurant that I have been to in London and the chef is friendly, willing to create whatever is possible in the way you’d like it, and happy to chat about his work. The breakfast is just wonderfully thought out, displayed, and set up. The house itself is beautifully maintained, decorated, and kept. Very clean, safe, and smells nice. All around very happy that I took a chance and tried Henry’s. Absolutely will come back.

A magical Regency escape in the heart of Marylebone Henry’s Townhouse is a true hidden gem in London. As someone who travels often for work (and who is already married), I wasn’t expecting to be swept off my feet—but this place did exactly that. The townhouse, once home to Jane Austen’s favorite brother, is full of historic charm while offering every modern comfort. I stayed in The Eliza room, which felt like something out of a period film—beautifully designed, with a supremely comfortable bed (the best of my entire trip), a luxurious soaking tub, and even a curated selection of first edition Austen novels for guests to enjoy. The morning staff deserve a special mention—they were incredibly kind, warm, and full of hugs (the real kind, not just the metaphorical ones). Their thoughtfulness truly made my departure that much sweeter. Whether you’re a literature lover, a couple seeking a romantic retreat, or planning a small wedding celebration or honeymoon in London, Henry’s Townhouse is a perfect choice. I’ll absolutely be returning—and recommending it to my clients as well.

This hotel is a real gem! We were fortunate to stay here last week upon a recommendation from a friend. Wow we loved it. We absolutely loved our stay. The rooms were pristine and elegant. The breakfast was great. The staff friendly. Location was ideal, central Marylebone. We can’t wait to stay next year.
