A comfortable stay at the Wellington. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Yes it’s above a pub and near a train station but the pub closes by 11 and the trains do not go all through the night. Would stay here again!

I was generally very impressed with the quality of the rooms and overall hotel, however the one thing that let it down was the amount of noise at night. It made sleeping very difficult which wasn’t ideal as I was up early the following morning for work.

Great location across the road from Waterloo Station. Friendly, helpful staff. Great breakfast. No lift. There was a shelf over the small sink so washing your face and shaving in it was difficult. Overall, a nice, handy place to stay in London. I would stay there again.

Awful experience Would NEVER book at this hotel again. Check in was in a pub??? The room was small and dingee and the continuous noise from the overhead trains was the worst thing ever!!! It never specified this in the booking page. I was conned in this booking.

The Wellington was a great option for my stay, as I was attending a seminar nearby, and it is handy to transport and shopping. The stairs up to my room were a bit of a trek, and the noise from outside could be an issue, but I use earplugs anyway for sleeping. Friendly and helpful staff, filling breakfasts, and I was able to leave my suitcase there for a few hours on my last day. I did ask at reception for an iron, which they advised they did not have.

It’s basically a big pub opposite the country’s busiest railway station so expectations weren’t high. I’d drank there a few times before but never stayed. The stairwell and carpet are tired and there was no carpet in the room. Also needed a blackout blind to deal with the bright light from the station but the glazing kept most of the noise out. But the good stuff! A lovely room - nice wood floor, excellent shower with wash products, really good coffee tray inc chocs and a complimentary fridge which inc soft drinks and a couple of little bottles of London Pride! Breakfast in the pub area was absolutely fine with the hot food to order. Great location for all central London needs if you’re a tourist (I work here) and good value for what you get. This pub house is so charming! And right across the street from Waterloo station. The location is perfect. Breakfast is complimentary, and while there aren’t many options it is very tasty.

Okay hotel, staff is great! No elevator on property just stairs.
