엘 파르 호텔 레스토랑(El Far Hotel Restaurant)

The hotel was fabulous! Olga was incredible the entire visit. She gave great recommendations for restaurants and hiking! The dinner was very overpriced for what we received. I ordered lobster with rice and there was barely a mouthful of lobster. Breakfast was included and very nice. Minibar in the room was complimentary which was nice. Would definitely stay here again.

The restaurant is fantastic but it becomes very expensive once you factor in the possible traffic fine for using the hotel car park. To avoid the fine you must inform the reception of your car details and they have an arrangement with the local authority to inform them of those details so you don't get fined. If you use the public var park just below the hotel car park the same applies. The sign is in Catalan only despite most visitors to the top being foreign and despite the fact that the vast majority of them will not speak Catalan. I've seen some crazy things in Spain but this beats the lot. To be fined for leaving a public car park by the only possible exit route is plain daft. Why even have the car park there ? And why make this particular road for pedestrians only? It hasn't even got any buildings on the road. I've now racked up €800 in fines this summer. Beware !

Amazing experience! Olga and Berta were absolutely great! Olga helped us with everything, restaurants, excursions, etc The food at the restaurant was just ok. But the stuff was very good! Rooms are very clean

We had a spectacular experience at El Far. Starting with the warm welcome from Olga, she helped us every step of the way from charming conversation, restaurant recommendations, calling taxis and any other way she and the other staff could help us. The hotel is beautiful, the view is incomparable, and the setting is ruggedly gorgeous. Loved every bit of this place.

We stayed here for a short break of 3 days. The hotel is small, only nine rooms or so. Sympathetically restored, mixing the old and the new. It is a well run hotel with an excellent team who are always ready to help. It is perched high above Llafranc, which means it is a bit of a trek into the small town by foot, and it is steep! But that is rewarded by stunning views and peaceful evenings. Our room got both sunrise and sunset, although the majority only get the latter. They have a 6 century bc village in the garden. Good parking and WiFi. The restaurant serves good Spanish food, mainly fish and seafood, well cooked in a simple style. Good attentive service and a well chosen wine list.

High on the hilltop looking out to the sea, next to the lighthouse is this lovely hotel. Quiet, clean incredible views, comfortable in all ways + helpful staff. Enjoyed the walks and the breakfast. Loved our stay!

These are people are pro. I ve booked the wrong week. When i called for a restaurant booking they made instantly the connection a my mistake. olga and ana maria are professionals. Its a small wonderfull hotel with an amazing view and silence. The rooms are cosy and up to date a must stay hotel and top of the mountain with the lighthouse nearby

A four night stay at El Far was an absolute delight. The room was well appointed, very clean and view from the balcony was fantastic. The staff really made this an exceptional break away, Olga, in particular could not have been more welcoming or helpful. The food in the restaurant was fabulous, never rushed and great views from the tables, we ended up dining there 3 out of the 4 nights we stayed. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

Some food for both courses was cold on arrival at the table - sent back cold Romana starter, but it was just then microwaved to achieve some heat which was really not acceptable for the price charged Waitress reached across seated diners to serve meals and waiter cleared our table whilst a number of us were still eating our main course It seemed like he was in a hurry to go home, or to accommodate further diners on the table later in the afternoon A poor expensive Sunday lunch for such an excellent location and we thought hotel had improved this year, but sadly this is not the case
