더 콥 뷰(Kop View)

Michael, the owner, and his business partners have only recently taken over The Kopview, and it's obvious there is still some work to be done. However, the rooms are very clean, if basic. Breakfast is continental and self-service in a well stocked kitchen. Parking is free. It is just across the road from Anfield, and a 15-minute walk from Goodison (until they move anyway), so great location if you're just going to watch the football as we were. The lock on our room door broke, and even though Michael had had a very trying day at his other property, he acted very professionally. He had the problem sorted within half an hour and moved us to another room. He couldn't apologise enough. Michael, we can really see what you’re trying to achieve with the Kopview and with your manner and attitude we really believe you will achieve it, see you next time we have a football weekend planned in your City.

DONT STAY HERE. Only reason to stay is if you are literally using it as a base for LFC. The reviews are great, hence why I thought I’d stay with my husband and two young children. But wow we were shocked to find in room 3: Toilet didn’t flush Bath towel rail which weighed a ton nearly fell onto to my son’s foot. The bunk bed rocked with any movement. Not safe to sleep in. There mattresses were springy and sunken. The headboard had hair all over it. The window didn’t close properly. The pillows were super flat. We called Michael and he apologised and said we can sort another hotel tomorrow but we had no choice to move hotels on that same night as my kids had no where to sleep. So we had to find a local hotel at 10pm at night. I told Michael we have left via text and I had no response. No call no text back. Nothing. The next day we had a stadium tour , as we walked past the place I could see a maintenance man outside the property. Door was open so I walked over. Michael came out we said hello. But to my horror he said all is fine. Toilet works, bunk bed is fine and went as far as saying we broke a hinge off one of his cupboards! He said he won’t be giving us a refund. I put him right but the man’s struggling and in denial so please avoid. He may have made changes to the property now after our complaint. I have photos and videos of everything. Outside of this some things I didn’t mind but feel a little disappointed about: The area is sketchy The stairs carpet is filthy The breakfast is an open kitchen with cereals etc not a cooked breakfast The front door is black and uninviting. The outside floor near the front door needs repairing asap!

Rooms was nice and big and clean and really close to where we was going kitchen was clean and open to whatever we wanted kids was happy there Micheal the owner was very helpful always on hand when needed or on other end of the phone would reccomed it and will be going up again soon 💯

Stayed here on Thursday for the Liverpool v Leicester game. Its literally a stone throw away from the stadium. Hotel was decent enough, huh who's owns it was helpful. Would stay again if going to another match.

Hice una reserva sin devolución pero me equivoque de fechas, así que hice otra. No me devolvieron la primera, pese a que expliqué inmediatamente que fue un error y lo comprobé con mi segunda reserva. Una atención al cliente así, no es muy buen augurio.
