Fabulous hotel with a boutique exclusive feel / vibe to it. Being only 4 years old it was clean and contemporary throughout. During our 4 night stay all the staff throughout were exemplary in making us feel like VIP’s. They all were top class. Thank you to Effi in reception for the warm welcome and helping us plan our day trips. The room was a top floor balcony and it was superb. We had breakfast and lunch there and it was all of very high quality. We ate out so cannot comment on dining in the evening. The pool is large although there is a restricted space for sun beds so can imagine it getting crowded in peak periods. The hotel is very close to the airport and is on the flight path which we did not mind at all. A few suggestions to hotel management for an even greater experience: 1) I would suggest marketing it as an adults only hotel. It has that atmosphere already and over 90% guests we could see were couples so would ensure higher rate of repeat customers that profile such as us. 2) please implement and enforce a “no towels on empty sun beds” policy similar to other hotels these days. A few guests were reserving sun beds when it was obvious they were spending hours away from the hotel. Overall a very special 4 night stay at the Elektra! Thank you to all the staff there.

Booked a last minute spa day with my boyfriend whilst on holiday and my oh my, I’m so glad we did. The day was just incredible and relaxing. The spa was beautiful and peaceful. Emma the receptionist was extremely welcoming and gave us a complete 5* service throughout the day. Antonia, our therapist gave me the best massage I’ve ever had and she was very friendly and just lovely. We will definitely be going back next time we’re in Kefalonia.

Look no further for your luxury resort in Kefalonia. This hotel is amazing with the most friendly and courteous staff, impeccable rooms, relaxing atmosphere. Other reviews will mention the proximity to the airport and it is true the airport is close but it should not deter you from staying here. It is not a busy airport. Additionally it makes getting to the airport on the day of your departure very simple. I would recommend a car if staying here because it is farther from some of the more touristy things on the island, but there are several wonderful restaurants and beaches within walking distance. I hope we have a chance to return to Kefalonia one day so we can stay here again. We took advantage of the spa and each had a massage, as well as used the spa pool, steam room, and sauna. Be sure to check it out as the pool, steam room, and sauna were all complimentary.

Such a lovely hotel. Our luggage got lost by the airline and the hotel did everything they could to help us get it back! We had an amazing stay, we will definitely come back. The spa was beautiful - Emma was so helpful explaining everything to us and Antonia gave us an amazing massage! Definitely recommend it was fabulous and so relaxing, loved it!

Excellent spa experience that was well worth the journey from Lassi. Had a great afternoon of relaxation poolside and in the sauna, and my partner and I both had superb massages. The staff were really friendly and made us feel very welcome and taken care of - Emma on the front desk made booking and organising very easy and her help throughout the afternoon was smashing. Antonia, our masseuse, was brilliant - very attentive to our needs and really friendly.

If you want quiet and relaxation this is the place to come! Small hotel so very few guests, the staff are so attentive to every need, the views are stunning, great beds and showers. Food is the best in kefalonia and not to mention the cocktails! Second time coming and we will be back. Special thanks to Zoe Mike Alex and Mr Alex

The hotel was fantastic! Very convenient from the airport but not that many flights so planes overhead are not annoying - quite novel if anything! We had a room with a private pool which was great. Breakfast is really nice - lots of variety. You have to book dinner but would highly recommend - much better than any of the nearby restaurants.

We have just returned from the most wonderful holiday to Kefalonia, made all the more special by the amazing staff at the Electra Kefalonia Hotel and Spa. By the end of our 10 night stay we were sad to leave having been made to feel part of the Electra family from ALL of the staff working there, who really couldn’t do enough for us. Special mention to the wonderful Yianna who really is AMAZING at what she does and so knowledgable about everything, as well as the lovely Dimitria, Giannis, Thanasi and Georgios. We couldn’t have wished to meet a nicer group of people who were so kind and thoughtful to us throughout our stay. This is a gorgeous, modern hotel, and we knew from check in when we were offered a welcome glass of Prosecco, that we had found a special place. Once checked in we made our way up to our room (a superior room with sea views) to be greeted by the lovely Dimitria, who had just left us a bottle of champagne on ice to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Small touches like this throughout our stay really added to the whole holiday and is something only a small boutique hotel such as this can offer….a more personal touch! Our room was spacious, clean and bright with a lovely marble bathroom. The cleaners came everyday and refreshed all towels, and kept the room spotless. Complimentary bottles of water were also restocked daily. There was a lot of storage space so suitcases could be kept out of the way and there was plenty of room to unpack your belongings. Breakfast was always sublime with a wide range of fresh fruits, yoghurts, pastries, breads, waffles and of course eggs to order. We ate like kings everyday, and the bonus was this was all included in the price of our room. Thanasi and Giannis were exceptional at remembering our preferences and pre-empting a coffee refill at just the right time! No issues with sunbeds around the pool at all during our stay. Some days were busier than others but we always managed to get a good spot (they’re all good spots to be honest!). What I loved most about this hotel was the calmness and tranquility throughout the day. A little bit of chill out music playing and the odd plane coming in to land which was always fascinating to see! On the days we stayed poolside we ate lunch at the hotel pool bar. Nice variety of choice, big portions on some of the dishes such as the club sandwich and the burger - we mostly shared the club sandwich and chips (homemade chips were fantastic!). Local beach (Ammes) a couple of minutes down the road, and another one (Al Helis) more of a walk away - around 20-25 mins, but much nicer in my opinion. Also some tavernas either side - we recommend O’Milos and Fish Cat. Now to the hotel restaurant - the most amazing food and wine… yes it is more expensive than the local tavernas and less traditional, but as foodies, this was right up our street! Recommend the salmon, seabass, sea bream and also the steak… which we had more than once. A nice selection of local win

This truly is a fantastic hotel with incredible staff, great location too, although some people say that it’s too near the airport, that isn’t a problem as there aren’t many flights and when they do come it’s interesting. Near a great little beach and not far from Argostoli. The staff couldn’t be better, especially Yianna in the restaurant, Efi on reception and especially George on reception who gave us great info on where to go and some great restaurant recommendations. Also thanks to Dimitra and George. We ate in the restaurant about 4 time and the food was fantastic. Great clean rooms with very good and much needed aircon. Thanks again we will be back!!
