When we arrived at our Courtyard Marriott in Little Rock, Arkansas, they said our reservations had been canceled because the hotel was overbooked. They said an e- mail had been sent about the situation on Oct. 31. No such e- mail was found.
We were sent up the road to a Towne Suites Marriott. When we arrived at this hotel, they said our reservations there had been canceled as well, but they could give us rooms.
Very frustrating situation and not appreciated. Why did they not tell us they were overbooked when the reservations were made? Very strange and shady. The Towne Suites Marriott were adequate, but we did not appreciate driving 81/2 hours to be told we didn’t have rooms in the hotel we had booked.
