We enjoyed our stay very much. Love the modern design and room facilities.

We eat at the restaurant regularly and can’t say enough about the staff, food and the decor. Nothing is too much trouble and staff are so friendly and welcoming. Very reasonably priced for great quality food

We enjoyed our stay here. It was a day during a road trip where we wanted to just chill, and it was perfect for that. The room was clean, fully stocked, and everything worked. Check in was easy and the staff was all very friendly and attentive. We would stay there again.

Dining experience in the carvery was excellent! Fantastic range of dishes with a first class team of chefs and waiting staff. Comfortable seating and very reasonably priced. Large family gathering and the restaurant coped wonderfully - all with a smile:)

A thoroughly enjoyable family holiday while staying in the Greenhills hotel over the Easter break. The family rooms are spacious and very way layout. ( we are a Family of 5) We dined in the bar and the food was great. Varied menu with great options for all the family . Breakfast in the morning was also great . The leisure centre and swimming pool was a big hit with the kids From the minute we checked in all the staff and management were so helpful and well trained. We will definitely be back

Went to the bar for food with my partner and 8 months old baby .. Was assisted to a table very quicky... My partner asked the waitress where the toilets were she replied down the hall, he said left or right and she replied I don't know my left from my right I ordered a strawberry daiquiri it was nice and my partner got a pint bottle of bulmers and the glass was dirty We ordered the bang bang chicken for a starter between us.. the chicken was hard as a rock and tasteless Before we finished the starter, a waiter came out with our mains I said we haven't even finished the starter, he replied I thought so but the chef had the food ready .. he asked me would he take it back I said no (because I knew the food would be left sitting there for god knows how long) I ordered the steak sandwich as a main course, the steak was hard and overdone the salad was very poor looking, the pepper sauce was like water and the chips were oily My partner ordered the roast beef his veg wasn't cooked enough it was hard, the beef was overcooked and dry and the mash was tasteless. Basically the whole meal was microwaved. We also ordered a baby bowl which was €4. The whole meal cost €74. It was over priced and horrible food. When I went to pay I was standing at the bar for about 6/7 minutes no one came over to me then I realised there was another area where I could pay which I did. I will never again return here and I would not reccomend this place to anyone.

Amazing We checked in for 1 night 2 rooms . Check in was efficient and everyone was very friendly. We had 2 lovely warm rooms. We had a lovely night sleep. Very cosy room. We had a family meal the next day as was a family event, the food was amazing. Staff were amazing. Especially the manager he is a treasure , very hospitable. We will be back again and will stay for a weekend. Many thanks, keep up the good work.

From the very beginning we were treated unkindly and looked down upon because we were young. Staff were really rude and rolled their eyes when we would ask a question. We felt like a burden rather than a guest. All that aside, the room was filthy. Receptionist with red hair was so unhelpful and looked at us like we were dirt. They were in no place to look at anyone badly when their hotel looks like that. Regardless of this, me and my girlfriend were spoken badly about by the young heavy girl with brown hair working in reception again, she was in no place to talk about anyone when she looked like that. We were made to pay a €100 damages deposit upon arrival which was not stated in the booking process. We asked what this was for and was met with a group of angry menopausal women. Hotel was dirty, smelled like damp and was old. Food was muck. Breakfast staff, however, were lovely and the leisure staff were friendly over the phone. The only downside seems to be the old woman who runs the place. Upsetting as we spent so much money here and they can’t seem to afford a hoover or a razor for the woman who owns the hotel. I would stay away from here unless you fancy lice and being down €100. As I walked down the hall dust rose and damp seeped through the roof. As i showered dust arose from the drain. No channels on the tv but thank you to Sarah, Mike and the kids for leaving your Netflix on the telly.

We are fairly regular visitors to the Greenhills (especially when Munster are playing!), but hadn't been since Covid lockdowns. It was great to be back, the owners and staff are evidently continuing to update rooms, and ours was lovely. There is a very negative (recent) review on TripAdvisor, and I can't imagine where that came from. The hotel staff were welcoming, and the hotel was clean and comfortable. We didn't eat at the hotel this time, as we were visiting family, but have enjoyed our meals there in the past. We would sincerely hope that the recent negative review does not deter other guests.
