바가 있는 릴 호텔

We were assigned an accessible junior suite though we didn't request an accessible room.. The bathroom was half finished and the wiring was not completed with the switches for the separate toilet and bath located in the doorway. There were signs pasted on the door to the toilet and the door to the shower stating that the hotel offered its apologies for the inconvenience! There was a workman's support pole found under the sinks which had to be removed by the technician when we complained. There was not a single hook, clothes stand, towel rack or rail anywhere in the bathroom, toilet or room. The hotel staff explained that they would send a technician a second time to drill hooks in the bathroom, we didn't bother since we were staying only 2 nights and didn't want the dust. The shower glass in the shower stall could not contain water within the stall and the floor became wet after we showered. Location wise the hotel is perfect and the staff were polite. Breakfast was a mix of hot cooked food and the usual cold cuts, cheeses, breads, yoghurt, fruits and juices. The breakfast room changes to a bar at night which serves affordable and nice cocktails.

The hotel was located in a good position, and the decoration is modern and minimalist. Welcoming service was good. On the other hand…. The rooms were not clean, we did not have enough towels, coffee machine was broken, A/C was working but much noisy, you could hear pelople’ steps on the floor above. No slippers were provided. When we kindly asked to solve these issues, they “fixed” the coffee machine, but forgot to refill the coffee recharge for 2 days. The 3rd day, we had the coffee. The A/C problem was not resolved. It can happen to have issues, but when telling them, you would expect them to meet you in the middle. I would not recommend, and especially, I would definitely not evaluate it as a “4-stars hotel”. It’s more a 2 stars.

Hotel central , idéal pour visiter et à quelques stations de metro du stade Mauroy. La déco est vintage revisitée , très beaux lustres. La porte de la sdb de la 206 pose pb , il n' y a pas assez de place. Manque de propreté dans la sdb, pomme de douche. On trouve de la moquette au sol posée sur du parquet qui grince. Des distributeurs d'eau sont présents aux étages, l'hôtel est climatisé. Le personnel était accueillant. Petit dejeuner top, avec le fromage sablé. Le rooftop ouvre à 16h, les cocktails sont bons mais relativement élevés pour une ville de province 16-18, 7 le coca. Vue décevante.

I forgot my makeup worth 300 euros there. Getting it back was so hard. I called for 3 days just to get a simple link sent to my email address and then paid 35 euros for ”fast” shipping, which wasn't fast at all. When I finally got my package, almost everything was gone—just a deodorant and one makeup brush were left. It’s obvious my things were stolen by someone at the hotel. When I called, I was left with no acceptable answer and could not even speak to the manager on shift. This hotel doesn’t care about you or your stuff. They didn’t even say sorry. Don’t stay at Hotel Barriere. There are more honest places that will respect you and your things.

The hotel is excellently located opposite the main train station where the Eurostar arrived. The area was very quiet and also within walking distance to pretty much everything we needed to see so we walked everywhere and never needed public transport. The lobby of the hotel is cosy and very welcoming and the people at reception were friendly and very accommodating. The room was nice and the beds very comfortable. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment on that but we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

A boutique hôtel. The location is excellent. Friendly staff. Rooms are OK, not great and the restaurant IMO is overrated and too provincial. But as I said, the staff is excellent, they were very accommodating and let me have a late checkout with no problem. I would love to see an upgrade of the terrace and dining area, give the chef more leeway with less chi-chi. It’s a nice place that just needs some fine tuning. Good wine list, breakfast to your room included.

기차 여행에 위치가 매우 편리했습니다. 저는 바로 옆집인 릴 유럽에 도착했고 다음 날 릴 플랑드르 역까지 계속 갔습니다. 두 곳 모두 걸어서 갔습니다. 호텔에서 시내 중심가까지 걸어서 갈 수 있는 아주 좋은 길이 있습니다. 매우 안전하고 활기찬 산책입니다. 웨스트필드 쇼핑몰이 근처에 있어서 쇼핑하기 편리합니다. 대형 미니 스위트입니다. 아들과 함께 여행했기 때문에 작은 침대를 정리했지만 여전히 공간이 충분했습니다. 유일한 문제는 욕실과 화장실이 조립식인 듯하고 약간 삐딱하다는 것입니다(하지만 매우 기능적입니다. 아들은 마치 기차 욕실에 있는 것 같다고 느꼈습니다. 전반적으로 매우 좋았습니다. * 카페테리아에서 식사하지 않았습니다(사실 레스토랑이 아닙니다).

수백 년 된 교회를 개조 한 호텔, 고전 문화와 현대 문화의 충돌, 정원, 교회, 피아노, 벽화, 우아하고 세련된 환경은 무거운 느낌을줍니다. 방의 설정이 약간 복잡하기 때문에 프론트 데스크는 손님을 방으로 데려가기 위해 매우 친밀할 것입니다.

The hotel foyer was very pleasant with comfortable chairs and a bar. All staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean and comfortable but we did not like the condensed milk provided so could not have a cup of tea. The breakfast was the usual buffet with some hot food. There was too much white bread and one day no wholemeal at all. Also the yogurts all had sugar in them. We would book again
