International Youth Hostel Lijiang

Very clean - location is easy to get to. It’s nice to not be in maze of Old Town (I’ve gotten lost in the old town too many times lol). Staff are friendly and speak English. Wifi is good and there is even a network with a built in VPN. Very beautiful courtyard to hang out in. It’s also very close to a baozi stand on JinKai Lu that has THE BEST mushroom baozi

Very good hostel that is friendly and convenient for foreign travellers. There is a nice big courtyard and a pool table that help provide a relaxing environment. The walls are adorned with interesting photographs the owner has taken of the surrounding area and province. The standard private rooms are adequate, affordable, and contain all the expected necessities. The location is a short walk from the old town entrance, which could be a blessing in disguise if you want to get away from the heaving crowds.

Its located in a alley, lots of mosquitoes and the blanket is so thick, too hot at night.

The manager had really good English, which she sneakily hid by being potentially shy about speaking it. Location is great for the old town and has really cheap food places next door if you're on a budget. The decor is potentially a little dated, but as a value location I was still very satisfied with my stay and would recommend to others.

It’s good place to stay if you don’t want to spend much. The rooms are ok, need a little more cleaning and repair. But very close to the Old Town of Lijiang. The lady owner was great giving us all the informations we needed to go to the Tiger Leaping Gorge or the Jade Snow Mountain.

The place was good. The owner was nice and friendly. The indoor area is really cozy. The room was clean but a bit smelly.

Check in was quick and easy. The owner seems really friendly and helpful. I was able to do laundry and I rented a bike from hostel which was a great way to explore other villages. The location is perfect!
