Recently stayed at the hotel and from initial checking in to checking out it was a five star expedience.Accommodation was excellent , food fabulous , staff exceptional and couldn’t do enough to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable ! I have stayed here on several occasions before and plan to return in the near future ! Great location, fabulous spa , didn’t avail on this visit but have in the past ! Attaching some photos of the meal on our first night stay 30/1/25 .. Every time I return it definitely get better .. Breakfast fab , we had our dinner in the bar and it was exceptional ..

Stayed here again and once more was left leaving very happy. Rooms are large and comfortable and with bottled water and tea and coffee. Food in the bar was excellent and well priced. Staff were all very friendly and hotel was warm throughout. Scones on arrival were served in the front bar along the main street.

Lovely hotel and staff. Our friends were having a night away following their wedding a few weeks earlier and a card and chocolates were left in the room for them. The breakfast was excellent with a great choice and was well worth paying the extra for. Will definitely stay again.

Stayed here last Saturday night for the night. Room was spotless, very big room, very comfy bed. Meal in restaurant was lovely. Breakfast was lovely, got it delivered to the room. Staff friendly. This was my second visit to hotel. Will be back.

Beautiful hotel for a one night get a way. Prices were very reasonable and lots of offers were available .Great attention to detail all round .our room was very cosy and clean food in the bar was excellent and all staff throughout hotel very healthy and friendly.

My wife and I are leaders of an 'Active Retirement Ireland' group. We were invited to a taster weekend to see what our group might experience in the Villa Rose Hotel. The whole 24 hours went so quickly and was a full-on experience. Bubbly, scones, and coffee on arrival. The reception staff was welcoming and personal. Bedroom: Spacious, lovely giant double bed. Exceptionally clean. All the little services were there: coffee, tea, water, hair dryer, soap, towels. Everything you would need for a comfortable night. The surprise gifts were amazing, including a 10% reduction voucher for McElhinneys. Whiskey Tasting in the bar at Jackson's Hotel - yes, a delight. Evening meal: What could we say except spectacular? We were presented with the best local produce and uniquely sourced well-chosen wines. It was delightful to taste all the different local dishes in the meal. The desserts were splendid and the Petit Fours a nice finisher. Breakfast: Relaxed and plenty to choose from. We are encouraging our group and friends to try a break in the Villa Rose. The staff were very kind and diligent, uniquely friendly and pleasant to encounter. Donegal hospitality is something special! We did visit McElhinneys and found some items to purchase.
