샤토 드 베른(Château de Berne)

So, we didn't stay here, but we will on our next visit to the area. We stayed in Nice but Provence is absolutely beautiful and Chateau de Berne is an oasis. We did the winery tour and it was so great! We loved their wine and purchased 2 cases to send home. We toured the grounds and WOW! This is our destination to return very soon as it was a find! You must see this hotel and the restaurants are amazing, too.

We stayed here for two nights and we’re blown away how beautiful it was.Our room and view were absolutely stunning,the grounds,the reception team nothing to fault.Our only complaint was leaving this beautiful property.Our dog Charlie didn’t want to leave and hid under the bed hoping we would forget him and he’s never done this before:)Absolutely exceptional and we will for sure return.

Avoid this hotel. We have stayed at many Relais Chateau and always found them pleasant and friendly, however, on this occasion we seem to have found the most obnoxious receptionist who was rude and unprofessional when presented with a problem the hotel had caused, from what I understand after the event, she is not going to be in the position for much longer so if you’re lucky she will be gone as all other staff were friendly and accommodating, the hotel is beautiful, bad fruit needs disposing of

Very unprofessional manageress Anna Lochon Gaime who needs educating on how to deal with mistakes made by the hotel, she is rude and obnoxious and should never be in a position of management, I feel sorry for the staff having to put up with her issues, the rest of the staff are pleasant and polite so luckily her attitude hasn’t rubbed off. An official complaint will be made to Relais & Chateau after the way she conducted herself, obviously this is why her attendance at previous hotels is very short lived!

Of all our experiences during our trip to France, our stay at the Chateau de Berne was the most wonderful. Beautiful place, superb room, amazing hospitality, service and rose!

My husband and I stayed at Chateau de Berne for our honeymoon for 4 nights on a 2 week long trip, and it blew the rest of the trip out of the water! We felt so attended too, left feeling rested and rejuvenated, and ate some of the best food we've ever had. Every staff member we encountered was kind, helpful, and genuinely seemed like they wanted the best experience for every guest. We will be back!!

Well run hotel with friendly staff, good food options ranging from Michelin star restaurant to bistro, excellent facilities - 2 outdoor pools, warmer indoor pool and spa, tennis, gym etc - all beautifully packaged into architectural restoration of ancient buildings in and rustic rural setting. If you like country walks this is the place for you. Strongly recommend.

We has dinner at the Bistro, food was great, staff were excellent and the crème brûle was to die for . Would definitely recommend 5 stars ⭐️

Our entire stay at Chateau de Berne was defined by first class hospitality. The reception staff and management, house keeping, restaurants, and valet all went out of their way to be hospitable with us and every guest. They strive to make everyone feel like they are having a personal experience - from a pillow menu to greeting everyone by name, remembering coffee orders, listening and providing bespoken recommendations, and so much more. The property is stunning, offering everything anyone could need for a glorious retreat. From breakfast to the bistro, room service and the gastronomical dinner, the chefs and full restaurant staff are top - notch. No detail, no matter how small, goes unattended. However, above and beyond all of this - the hospitality of the entire Chateau de Berne team is what separates it from other places. Staying here is a first-rate experience like no other.
