Maison d'Hotes la Bageatiere - Lac d'Aiguebelette

This is such a lovely place to stay - beautiful position, very welcoming host. We loved it all apart from the cold floor in our ground floor bedroom.

This is a beautiful famhouse and owners Patricia and Nicolas are so nice. We enjoyed our stay so much. We had booked the Lavender family suite and the room is big and spacious with 2 floors. There is a queen bed with a small balcony at first floor and 2 single beds in second floor. The common area is cozy with reading area and a big dinning table. The farm is massive but as it is a winter, we don't have a chance to enjoy the pool. As our visit was in winter, we were the only guest that evening and we had ordered the welcoming chesse platter and also the dinner, the food are super good and fresh. The portion is so big and we hardly can finish it. The breakfast is perfect and all the utensils are just so cute and in details. Also, it is near Aiguebelette Lake and scenory is maginficent and it also can do hiking and water sport during spring and summer but for us, we just drove along the lake and took pictures but we had a good relaxing afternoon and good rest during our stay here and recharged ourselve to continue our journey to Annecy.

We regret we only had one night to spend at this charming B&B. The delightful decor (clearly enormous effort was expended to restore this 16th century farmhouse) was complemented by the superior service and generous attention of hosts Nicolas and Patricia. We hope to return!

We had an amazing 2 night stay here on our way to a ski resort. The location is beautiful and property itself lovely, with lots of character. Even our 6 year old children commented on how lovely the house and grounds were. Hosts, Patricia and Nicola are very accommodating and if you fancy a special treat, make sure you eat in, as Nicola is an brilliant chef who cooked us a delicious 3 course meal. We will definitely be back.

We had a delightful stay on our way to Annecy. The owners warmly greeted us and made us feel comfortable and at home right away. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, prepared with fresh organic ingredients from the property or local area. Nicolas and Patricia were both gracious, accommodating, and kind. The room was beautiful and comfortable. Well worth getting off the beaten path to enjoy this quiet, relaxing retreat.

Nice stay, excellent service, we slept very well. Very nice garden. Easy access to the lake by car with nice restaurants.

Des gens formidables dans un environnement féerique Dîners exquis dignes d’une grande table Patricia d’une douceur et gentillesse sans pareil.

L’endroit est tout d’abord merveilleux et au calme. La chambre que nous avons eue étaient aménagée avec beaucoup de goût dans cette vieille maison impeccablement rénovée. Nous sommes arrivés de nuit et avons donc eu la surprise de découvrir le paysage à couper le souffle depuis le balcon le matin. Petit-déjêuner au soleil sur la terrasse avec multitude de produits locaux et d’attentions. Merci aux propriétaires pour leur accueil et pour ce superbe moment que nous avons passé.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft mit herrlichem Garten! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und wären gerne länger geblieben. Unbedingt vor Ort essen! Die Gastgeber haben ein ganz fantastisches Abendessen zubereitet!
