Premier Inn Leeds South (Birstall)

Very impressed with this hotel for price I paid - although I notice that I got a very good price compared to what it typically goes for. Comfortable bed, good size room, relatively modern interior. It is a 15 min drive from Leeds centre which may put some off, but overall I was really happy with my stay.

From the moment we walked into reception Karen was the most cheerful, welcoming and helpful receptionist I have come into contact with in a long time. In was the first time we had stayed here and she explained the procedure for breakfast etc. The room key didn’t work at first so she reprogrammed it and then accompanied me to the room to make sure everything was OK. We only stayed one night, to attend a 50th Birthday party but certainly would stay again if we were in the area. Thank for an extremely comfortable room an excellent service

Stayed a few times now …. Staff have always been pleasant and nothing too much trouble would def recommend, stayed over as a friend was celebrating a 50th Birthday. Rooms are always clean there was at least 10 of us that had breakfast the next morning which was help your self, just what we needed after partying hard the night before!

We stay here a lot when visiting family in Leeds , we travel up from London and we arrive we receive a fantastic welcome and in our room this time we got a lovely card and two mini bottles of wine … very much appreciated after a long drive ! Thank you

Really comfortable room & bed, exceptionally clean, good food, excellent staff, very friendly and helpful, quiet area although close to a busy road, no traffic noise, felt safe and secure. Corridor and bar area, clean and tidy.

A fab stay last weekend at the Birstall hotel. Visited to attend a wedding and was pleasantly surprised with the everything. Really comfortable, super friendly staff, good breakfast. Thoroughly appreciated the early check in too, very useful for when we needed to get ready for the wedding.

We had to rush up to visit family and the staff here were wonderful , they went above and beyond for us and other family members making a very difficult trip a little bit easier knowing we had a nice comfy place to rest our heads , I know where I will be staying again. Thank you once again you have been wonderful. Also having the restaurant so close is an added bonus and the food is lovely and well priced .

Always clean, quiet and has space in the carpark. The reception staff are friendly. The hotel is well maintained. Bed is comfortable and there's a bath - I hate shower cubicles. We don't eat here but go to Prashad up the road... Suits our needs

Have stayed here a few times and all has been good - reception staff very nice and rooms clean and comfortable. However stayed to break journey back south after Christmas with two adjoining rooms with connecting door on ground floor and were woken about 5 am by a high pitched ringing/ whining noise in both rooms. It came and went but meant we were awake from 5. My son recorded it on his phone. Informed reception before breakfast so that they could check it out and we're advised to contact customer service as they had a good night's sleep guarantee. Eventually had a patronising and dismissive response from customer service 3 weeks later - no interest in our problem at all. Staff nice but Premier Inn corporate customer service stinks.
