스위트 호텔 산타 치아라(Suite Hotel Santa Chiara)

We arrived in late morning. Left our bags at reception--when we returned, they were already in our room. The Zona Traffico Limitada limits automobile access times to the hotel, but you just want to take your car to a parking area (after 2 pm, their garage will send a valet for your car; we used Parkejoo, an underground garage, until then). Nice breakfast. No need for a hotel restaurant or bar, plenty of choices nearby. Room was quite attractive with great woodwork and curtains--fitting into the Baroque spirit of the city.

Such a disappointment, after so many lovely hotels in Italy. The rooms are tiny and we had a choice of a room with only skylights or a view of a wall. The bed cover was stained, the fridge was dirty inside, and the walls were marked and grubby. There is a jacuzzi next to the breakfast tables which is so bizarre. This hotel has 4 stars but I have no idea why.

This is a new hotel built I an old building and is lovely. Our corner room was on the 1st floor (2nd floor to Americans) and while lovely, the noise and bright lights from a street party made it impossible to sleep on Saturday night until 2 am. Obviously not the hotel’s fault but be aware if your booking includes a Saturday ask for a room away from the street. Breakfast is served in a sunroom on the top floor.

Somebody at the hotel engages in credit card fraud. My card was cloned at the premises. I am sure because it was the first time I used that specific card in a long time. Upsetting, to say the least. The hotel management should thoroughly check its employees and the equipment used.

Boutique hotel in centre of Lecce. Very close to everything. Lovely roof top terrace for breakfast. We arrived at midnight and they were very welcoming. We had room on first floor with balcony overlooking square. It would have been nice to have had free bottled water in bedrooms for a supposedly 4 star hotel.

It was kind of rundown. The rooms were too hot, and if we opened our windows it was noisy outside. There was no AC. There was no water one afternoon when we wanted to shower, but it was working later. The shower had no place to put soap or shampoo, so they had to go on the floor of the shower or try to balance on the plumbing. The nightstands were too far from the bed. The outlet cover in the bathroom was broken. It has a nice location and nice lobby, but it was hard to shower or sleep.

Staying one night as part of out InnTravel pathways of Puglia trip. Hotel was very friendly and comfortable. Great central location for restaurants and touring the city. Nearby restaurant recommended by hotel was excellent see my other review.

Our room was very small with no view. Only window was a velux. Beds quite comfortable and the room was clean. Quite noisy on a Saturday night as next door to bar. The reception area was grand and staff we met helpful and friendly. We were excited to see a Spa advertised but were told not yet open (why advertise?). Breakfast was in a rooftop space with views over the beautiful city of Lecce, but it has potential to be even nicer. There is a jacuzzi in amongst the tables which was rather odd! Breakfast was not great and to begin with only one member of staff serving and she was not very friendly!
