Excellent hotel in a restored building with star shaped ceilings in the centre of the old town. fantastic service and attention by Sophia. Exceptional experience.

The perfect place to stay in Lecce. Incredible recently redesigned Monastery with luxury appointments and service to match the ambiance. Close to all the sites. Rooms are spacious and quiet. Highly recommended for your visit to beautiful Lecce.

Wow! This has to be one of the best hotels that we have stayed in the world! The convent/palazzo has been tastefully renovated to provide unique, spacious, luxury accommodation within the walls of old Lecce The beds were really comfortable. The breakfast spread has to be one of the best we have ever tasted in the whole of Italy! Such a choice of freshly baked sweet and savoury pastries & cakes, along with fresh fruit, bread, etc. If all of the above was not great enough, the staff (especially Matteo & Silvia) were amazing and cannot be praised too highly! Really friendly, welcoming and helpful. We hope we can come back to Lecce and Palazzo Sant'Anna sometime.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful our experience was there. Matteo was so accommodating and gentile from when I made our reservation and throughout our stay. Francesca was lovely and happy to attend to our every need in the morning. The accommodations were clean, well attended, and the breakfast was bountiful and delicious. Beatrice the proprietor was lovely and such an accomplished artist and baker. We would highly highly recommend Palazzo Santa Anna.

You will not find more caring, warm hospitality in all of Italy. We felt so welcome at palazzo sant’anna. It’s a beautiful, elegant hotel where the staff take great pride in all the little details that make travel memorable. Nothing was too much trouble from restaurant bookings and recommendations to how to spend our time and beach towels for a day trip and a glass of wine on a sunny afternoon on the communal terrace / roof top. The breakfast delicious with a wide range of beautiful and delicious treats all made with local and organic produce. One tip: look out for and be sure to read the location directions sent in advance by the hotel. I received them but didn’t see the message before we arrived, so we got terribly lost with the car in VERY tight, winding streets. That was stressful, but the hotel did everything days in advance to try to make that easier for us. It’s a shoes-off inside hotel but this didn’t bother us and the hotel offers slippers to wear inside. Can’t recommend highly enough! Beatrice the owner, Francesca, Matteo, Dario, Sylvia and Caterina are all wonderful, warm people who made us feel so welcome and at home not just in the hotel, but in Lecce. LOVED it!!!

A beautiful property, with incredible taste and ambiance. Food was amazing and the staff superb. Can’t recommend enough. Hope to come back very soon to this amazing palazzo in the heart of the city. Francesca was amazing.

We had an amazing experience! The accomadations, staff and breakfast were all five star plus!!! Can’t say enough about what a lovely time we had.

Sant ‘Anna is a delightful old monastery upgraded and decorated with utmost taste by the owner. Simple, elegant, comfortable and atmospheric. We were upgraded to the presidential suite which was a lovely and unexpected surprise. The suite itself has a light airy feel with plenty of space. It has its own private roof terrace with views over old Lecce. All the staff were wonderfully helpful and attentive during our 5 day stay in September. Special mention for Francesca for whom nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was a feast for both eyes and taste buds and laid out as if in a monk’s refectory. Sant Anna is located within the city walls, close to Porta Rudiae and a short walk to Piazza Duomo but wonderfully peaceful. Good choice of restaurants and on-street parking nearby. The gracious owner Beatrice hosted drinks and nibbles for guests on one of the roof terraces and there were freshly baked little tasty pastries laid out in reception for guests. Would not hesitate to recommend.
