어벤드블룸 - 어른 전용(Abendblume)

Considering the price that is being charged, I wrongly assumed the "bed" and "breakfast" would be outstanding, but the bed was broken down and extremely uncomfortable (to say the least). You know the owner is cheap when he/she refuses to upgrade the bed to save money. If I even slightly moved in the bed, my wife woke up from a sound sleep (pathetic really). The breakfast was a joke, mainly just yogurt and berries (offered at most cheap hotels like a Continental breakfast). When you're spending over $500 per night, your expectations are higher than normal, and a gourmet breakfast is what we have seen at other B&B's that charged much less per night! Needless to say, I feel like our 25th anniversary was partially ruined by this "below average" B & B. I do not recommend this place!

perfection. i’d elaborate but i’m sure many others have. didn’t arrive until past 1 am, on our trip and they took care and made sure we could still get into our room. the rosengarten suite was easily the prettiest room i’d ever laid eyes on, with its light, virgin stained wood, mirrors and subtle white bathroom. luxurious bath tub. manic, pixie, dream of a flower-lined bavarian ski balcony.

What a wonderful place! Kelly and her staff have made this a special place. Rooms are so well appointed and breakfast is outstanding! Dessert at night and fresh coffee early in the morning. We have been and will be back again next year. Well done!

Could not have been better! Such a lovely setting, comfortable chairs, bed and all in a gorgeous setting. The outdoor area with the cozy and private feel of a chateau...wish we could have stayed longer! The breakfasts were fabulous, and the very kind staff went over and above to make sure everything was perfect. Thank you for a wonderful visit!

This place is like a dream! So peaceful and very romantic for couples. Not sure why there are so many bad reviews about not knowing kids cannot be here. It was stated all over their website, in their confirmation emails and with a quick Google search you can find that info. This place is clean, relaxing and the perfect spot for a peaceful getaway. The ambiance is exactly what I needed to get in the Christmas spirit. Will definitely be back! Came here on my Birthday and wish I could stay longer.

We booked the hotel during the Labor Day weekend. One day before check-in, we wanted to check if we needed to bring a crib because we have a toddler traveling with us, so I called them and left a message. The next morning, a lady from the hotel (presumably the owner) called me and told us that our reservation must be cancelled because no children are allowed to stay in the hotel. I was surprised and mentioned that we didn't notice that restriction at all when booking the hotel. However, I was assured that our deposit would be refunded, and when I asked how, I was told it'd go back to my credit card directly. During that time, we felt grateful and thanked her for being flexible. Few days later, I didn't see the refund so I called her on the cell phone that she called me with. The moment she realized who's calling, she acted like the cell phone signal was not good and kept saying hello. I had to leave a message and hoped someone would call me back. However, no one called after two full days. In the following days, I called them multiple times using both the cell phone number and the official hotel phone number, and left a message each time, but no one from the hotel ever returned my call. I felt like I was treated like a fool. If you don't want to refund my deposit due to the policy, please state so upfront instead of playing tricks. Here is a warning to all future guests: if you want to deal with dishonest owners, please go ahead and book the hotel.

This place was my favourite stop on a long road trip. It was magical. So calm, relaxing and hospitable. I wish I could have stayed longer. The breakfast was probably the best I have had in a “bed and breakfast”. Boiled eggs, toast, delicious pastries, fruit, yoghurt, cheese and salamis. The area is just beautiful and Leavenworth town is within walking distance on a cool day. It was 41C when I visited !

We had a wonderful time at Abendblume this week as usual! We've been very satisfied patrons, since we stumbled onto this gem years ago! No setting like it! Makes for the most perfect, unique get-away in the most beautiful little town around! The hospitality, room options, breakfasts and evening dessert treats can't be beat. This year, to our surprise, Kelly upgraded our suite with no price increase, and that indeed was a special treat! Our favorite summer get-away!
