그랜드 호텔 데 방(Grand Hotel des Bains)

The hotel is at the thermal center. It is thus far away of every big city especially by public transport as I have to take the infrequent bus. Room I was disappointed for an expensive hotel it was very small. There is no more place in the fridge because of all what they want to sell to drink or eat. The thermal center is good, the food is good and the hotel interior is beautiful. Overall it is overpriced even at the lowest price I think it wasn't worth it and I am a big fan of thermal station. The price fluctuate a lot try to get it on the cheap.

Utterly superb spa, well looked after, super location, friendly staff very clean. We had a great time here and indeed would return it is hard to find really quality spas such as this and indeed the hotel though not cheap lived up to our expectations so thank you!

The hotel is great and the staff friendly. The baths are the best as always. We went for the first time to the buffet to diner. Unfortunately, really poor options for vegetarians. Indeed only a mushroom quiche in the warm compared to many noble meats for non vegetarians. For the price it is a quite deceiving. Apart from that, perfect stay !

As always. happy and enjoyed our stay. Clean, pillows are soft. the bar and the restaurant are very good. specially the buffet at la table and the breakfast . very satisfied. looking forward to the next one. thank you.

Great accommodation and very good service. To make the experience even more unique and complete I would suggest to 1) invest in a gym 2) extend the usage of the thermal bath for the hotel customers only, to the second section of the thermal bath, at least one or 2 days during the week, and possibly not only in the morning but potentially also for an hour in the evening. 3) have a restaurant with table service in alternative to the buffet, the Chalet offer that service but with a less refined choice in my opinion. About the wellness centre the quality and professionalism of the masseuse has been high end! The only suggestion here would be to consider adding the possibility to have massage that goes beyond 50 minutes and possibly up to 90 minutes. Thank you for the stay we really enjoyed it

From the reception to checking out a five star experience. Friendly, professional staff in all areas. The pool (part) and a hammam open to hotel guests for an hour and a half before public opening was great, I think at least once a week everything could be open to the hotel guests. Had three massages, all exceptional, big thanks to Sofia and Alexia. Had a facial, that was the only thing that was not value for money in my opinion, not sure with whom as she never introduced herself! Good breakfast. Good room with balcony Only thing missing is a gym (for hotel guests) for fitness as well as wellness.

The stay was great, only negative aspect was the breakfast buffet which had zero vegan options except fruit – to not have at minimum plant-based milk and yoghourt in a hotel in 2024 is surprising! And other more developped options would be nice (tofu scramble etc. ), same for the supper, more vegan options would be nice.

I stayed with my family from Portugal in the Grand Hotel Des Bains and we absolutely loved it ! The thermal baths are obviously the highlight but we were very impressed with the quality of the hotel, the sympathy of all the staff and the amazing restaurant buffet. We will definitely comeback !
