We came for a week with all Our family of 4 . First time in Fuertaventura . The Resort is absolutely a gem all very clean organised great decor and clearness.Apartments all modern bright with air conditioning with a great housekeeping staff.. the sport equipments and activities are very high standards . At reception Assistant Manager Desire’ and Sheila were so kind to look after our needs, I can’t thank enough for their professional and kind attitude …Top Marks . the Restaurant is bright very clean with a large variety of food and drinks every day different local and fresh . Chefs are amazing ;my son have few food allergies and Chefs Francisco and Aikam were always ready to have his food cooked and served a part to avoid food contamination and it made out dine experience perfect the way we were looking for . front house staff so organised friendly fast professional and ready to help for any requests.. special mention to Gianluca and Fran which were brilliant every single service to look after all the tables . Palapa Bar a great spot for the aperitivo before dinner or for a late drink . Always very busy and lead by Elena a Fantastic bartender and very kind person which makes delicious and well presented cocktails… she was looking after myself and my family for 5 nights in a row with strong customer service skills professional attitude and delicious cocktails The Food and Sport Shops Staff always very helpful not expensive and again professional in every aspect ..Nora and The 2 Lukasz were brilliant to help us with our sports bookings and food groceries We can wait to come back ..this is The Place to go relax and enjoy your holiday . Staff makes you feel like you’re home .. Gracias de todos We see you again next year . Can’t live anymore without you Playitas ♥️

Wow what a place we visited here in February for a week with other members of our kids swimming club and what an amazing week we had. The apartments were very large and spotlessly clean. The facilities within the hotel were unreal and truly catered for everyone within our group. It was one of the swimmers birthday whilst we were here we purchased a cake from the hotel to have with dinner and it was fantastic. We have already booked our return for next year. Can’t wait

We stayed here a week in February 2024. The hotel and the surroundings were actually better to photos in hotel websites. The goods: + Lots of free classes. And I mean a lot. 6+ every day + Good gym. + Trails next to the hotel offer 150m+ elevation gain. If you run to and back Grand Tarajel, you can run approx 15 km loop with 800 meters of elevation gain. + Food is healthy and good quality. Do not expect any top culinary experiences, but there are lots of options available and the quality is good. The bads: - The cleaning was somewhat irregular. Sometimes we got clean towels, sometimes just one of the towels on the floor was changed to a clean one. - Beachtowel policy was really weird. You need to pay to get a clean towel. - There is nothing around the resort. Or you can wal to Las Playitas and Grand Tarajel, but there is not much to see there. In addition to these, there is just sand. We did not swim or bike during our stay, but the facilities for these were great. In overall, we had a good stay. Lots of sport, sun, and healthy food.

We stayed there for two weeks over x-mas and new year. Beside Golf, Tennis and Hiking we favored, Playitas offers dozens of other activities. Most for low or no money on a very high level. The appartments are clean, spaceous and well equipped with kitchen and everyting needed to prepare a meal when needed. Spontaneous bookings for their buffet restaurants are always possible. The Bodega restaurant within the Hotel complex I found not so good. People in general are helpful and always friendly. There is a little supermarket with limited choice within the hotel premises. Bigger supermarkets, grocery stores, some small but good restaurants and whatever necessary is available in nearby Gran Tarajal which, however, is too far to walk. I would recommend to book a small car for the stay to visit some good places and restaurants on Fuerteventura and neighboring islands. Ferryboats leave from Puerto Rosario, Moro Jable and Corralejo. Specially recommendable, a day trip to Lanzarote from Corralejo which costs around 140Euros for two person with a car. Parking near the Hotel is free.

Wanted to say a huge thank you to the reception and other staff from Playitas aparthotel especially Beralides who was so warm and kind. They really made our visit that bit better and more memorable Good points: - very clean and impressive room that easily fit 3 people (I think we had a studio room) - Super friendly, accommodating, kind & helpful staff - nothing seemed too much for them - Gave great advice on locations to visit and introduction to the hotel Things I loved: - Beautiful room, well laid out, balcony, well furnished, excellent quality fittings, kitchen with good quality pots, pans and utensils - heated mirror in bathroom - soft close on kitchen cabinets - lots of small touches in the room which have been well thought out and executed - Decent Wi-Fi across the resort (when it works) - Excellent weight training gym - Cleaner attended issue with overly wet bathroom quickly - Reception staff were magnificent - lots of sports to try although most were an additional hire charge - we got lucky and was put into a room with a sea view (didn’t specify or pay for this) - walls were well sound insulated from other guests noises - really close to local village / town Things that could be better: - no soft close on toilet seats or wardrobes - Drain plug doesn’t drain water very quickly when using the shower and water gets all over the bathroom - Gap in bathroom sliding door so you can see into and out of the bathroom when on the toilet - all our towels in bathroom had a slight but noticeable greasy smell about them but towels in the gym smelt good and fresh - not very impressive or inviting beach

Was there for 2 weeks. Having come to Playitas many times the past 10 years, I was looking forward to seeing the results of the much needed renovation of the common areas and especially the apartments. A mixed pleasure. The apart buffet restaurant is really nicely done! Buffet area is much larger and really appealing. Looking forward to seeing the new roof terrace that they were still working on. New tiles around the pool look nice and are less slippery than the old. Nice that all buildings will soon be white and no longer shades of cream. Reception is cool and airy, and better configured than before. The one-room apartments are more successfully renovated than the two-room. Both have some of the same weird changes that are in fact not an improvement: full-length mirror removed, no "hallway" furniture for your shoes/keys/jacket/etc anymore, kitchen is new but very badly configured with no natural space for the food items you buy. Still no small icebox in the refrigerator. Bathrooms look updated but I don't get the way they are done where a shower using any soap products will cause semi-flooding of the bathroom floor. The old toilets have been re-used in the "new" bathrooms, even with the original seats... We stayed in a two-room apartment which was better before the renovation (stayed in the exact same one the year before, easy to compare) in spite of the dated colours/materials. New laminate flooring throughout, the wall between the entrance and the kitchen has been removed, new TVs (one is a smart TV with built-in Chromecast). The second bedroom/"living room" is so bare that we thought it wasn't finished; a closet, a bed, and a small table. That's it in a large room. The low wall that used to have plenty of space to put smaller items and had loads of electrical outlets is gone. You get one electrical outlet, no bedside lamps (only horrible ceiling fixtures that can only be switched on from the middle of the room???), and nowhere but the closet for your stuff. Not a single peg to hang anything or a surface other than the floor to put anything. The "beds" are weirdly plastic covered mattresses with a flimsy 5mm top "mattress", no extra pillows and no real feeling of being beds - rather a temporary cot or "sleeping on a friend's sofa" for a week or two. Not OK when the apartment is sold as suitable for 4 adults! You really feel like you got the wrong end of the stick if you get that room and your travel mates the other. The "master bedroom" does have a semi-wall to put your stuff, built-in USB + electrical outlets. The beds are on wheels and very rickety. As are the reading lamps which will switch on unprovoked in the middle of the night (weird/bad electrical installations). The sliding patio doors still need to be forcefully pulled open/shut. Loved our stay here. The aparthotel studio had a spacious living area for chilling in, good wi-fi and there was a laundrette on site too!! The staff could not have done more to accommodate our group! They went above and beyond to help and this made our stay really special.

It is with some sadness I need to write this , if only to warn others as we were not . Our fourth visit to Playitas aparthotel. Writing was on the wall when the taxi driver from the airport informed us it was closed ‍️. On arrival we had to check into the Hotel reception as where we were supposed to have checked in was little more than a building site. This was to be just a start of our unpleasant arrival journey. The Aparthotel had been undergoing major refurbishment and building works this year we booked in April and at no time was made aware of these site closures. Long and short of it is at the management awarded us substantial compensation however, this merely softened the blow of our spoilt holiday. None of the deadlines they stated during our stay were achieved, and two weeks of angle grinders , cement mixers and drills forced us to hire a car in search of more peaceful surroundings, due to the Hotel pool ( the fall back option as Aparthotel pool closed then only half finished )being inundated beyond capacity. We may consider returning as we had previously enjoyed the setting and it’s amenities, but probably in a few years once all the works are completed

We have been to this hotel several times over the years, staying on the aparthotel and the hotel rooms. Always a very good experience but recently a lot of money has been spent on refurbishing the place. Accommodation is excellent (Aircon is weak if there is one criticism I would make). Food is top notch and exercise program great. On half or full board basis we used to be able to eat in either the hotel restaurant or aparthotel one regardless of where you are staying. However, on our last visit that had changed & you now can only eat at the aparthotel restaurant if that is where you are staying. But disappointed about that but noted for our next visit and it would be awesome if they reversed this policy.
