Our stay at Salvatore's farm was fantastic. Salvatore's hospitality and passion for the region really stood out. The farm's location in the middle of the fields provided a peaceful escape from the city buzz. What made our stay memorable was the farm-fresh food. Every meal showcased the best of local produce, straight from Salvatore's farm or nearby. Don't miss out on the dinner experience—it's a must. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, offering a comfortable retreat at the end of the day. Overall, we had a great time at Salvatore's farm and highly recommend it to others. It's a perfect choice for those looking for a peaceful getaway with delicious food and warm hospitality.

I would highly recommend Essentia Dimora Rurale to any traveler. We stayed as a couple for five nights in July. In addition to a beautiful location, conveniently situated to reach both the ocean and beaches, and many interesting sights and small towns in the region, the agriturismo offers comfortable rooms with well planned design and themes throughout. A wonderful garden, and own produce on offer for both breakfast and delicious dinners. Salvatore was an extremely attentive and pleasant host. Eager to tell us about Molise, and everything this relatively unknown region of Italy has to offer. Very helpful with tips to sights, restaurants and anything we needed to know. I would love to stay here again, and recommend both the agriturismo and Molise as a region to everyone.

Wonderful experience e-biking through the hills, valleys, farms and rustic towns of Molise. Salvatore guided us along empty country roads over and through bright green valleys with the Adriatic Sea, snow-covered mountains and hill towns dotting the landscape as a backdrop. Delicious homemade panini for lunch. As great as the ride and the lunch were, the true highlight was the family who run this Agriturismo, a family-run business with Salvatore, his sister and his parents working the land and Salvatore leading the e-bike tours. These are truly good, generous people who appreciate tourists wanting to experience their region. This was a highlight of my two-week trip to Italy and not only would I go out of my way to do it again, I would definitely stay at least a few days with them at Agriturismo Essentia. Grazie Mille Salvatore and family for a beautiful day in Molise… Molise does exist and it’s Belissimo!

I happened to find Essentia Dimora Rurale only by chance on Google Maps - so happy that I did! My spouse and I had a wonderful stay at the agriturismo over Easter weekend. The property and surroundings are absolutely beautiful. It is a very relaxing and peaceful space. We stayed in the Olio room and found it very comfortable. It was really nice to have a private patio area as well as the large yard. Breakfasts consisted of either sweet or savory (or both!) items and were abundant! We had dinner there twice during our stay, different dishes each night, and everything was so fresh and delicious. Salvatore is so kind and has a wonderful sense of humor. He is great with communication, we spoke via email as well as phone prior to our arrival. He provided wonderful recommendations to ensure we enjoyed as much of Molise as we could in only four days. It was heartwarming to observe, and experience, the passion and pride that has been put into Essentia. We would absolutely return to Essentia and highly recommend it to others!

The room was clean, welcoming, warm, and beautiful. The food was delicious, and Salavatore may be the most generous and gracious host I have ever encountered. If you traveling in this part of Molise, I can't recommend this highly enough.

Beautiful location, brilliant welcome and excellent experience. Salvatore is a fantastic host who knows the Larino district as only someone who was born and bred there can and loves to share it with his guests. Go there. Salvatore will look after you.

Spectacular view, dedicated hosts, delicious food, and plenty of room for the children to play outside. Salvatore was in constant contact leading up to our visit and definitely has put his heart and soul into this agriturismo. I only wish we had stayed longer.

Questo posto merita più di due parole, perché è molto più che un’attività commerciale, molto più che una sosta, molto più che un’ottima cena o un bel panorama. Essentia, a Larino, è, per il mondo, come il cuore che nel Mago di Oz manca all’uomo di latta. L’amore per quello che la sua terra produce, fa di Salvatore un ospite unico, la cui prima preoccupazione, al tuo arrivo, non sono i documenti da registrare e nemmeno il check in, ma mostrarti la bellezza faticosa dei suoi grani antichi, spighe alte e gonfie di chicchi che a tavola portano profumi dimenticati. Sì, perché la tavola, poi, è il vero posto del viaggio. Anzi, del viaggio è meta e origine. In un’a**osfera da cena in famiglia, Salvatore porta in sala i suoi prodotti, li spiega, li bagna con buonissimi vini molisani, e quasi si incanta lui stesso nel racconto delle processioni contadine e dei carri parati a festa, trainati da coppie di buoi, vestiti di fiori di carta che le donne iniziano a creare a gennaio perché a maggio tutto sia perfetto. In un mondo dove “chilometri zero” è diventato un marchio furbo per spacciare genuinità sospetta, visitare Essentia dovrebbe essere quasi obbligatorio, ché in una terra che per molti non è piatta, di certo il palato è spesso appiattito da cibi senza una storia. Qui da Salvatore, ritroverete il filo, e ritroverete la storia; qui il grano antico, la soppressata, la pampanella, saranno il frammento sul quale si avvolgerà la perla di un posto dell’anima, dove le cose - tutte le cose - sono solide e semplici.
