Lakeshore Resort

Stayed in one of the small (3 person) ‘A’ cabins in Feb to ski at China Peak. We arrived late and didn’t know what to expect based on reviews. The host was tending bar in the busy saloon. She was lovely. The cabin was renovated and clean. Quite sweet for a rustic ski cabin. We would stay again. A week after we got home, we got an unexpected package from the host - she sent a book we had completely forgotten about.

We stayed at Lakeshore Resort for the long weekend. The experience was amazing all around- the staff, the food, the evening entertainment, and of course the stunning views. Linda, Shula, Erin, and Mary were wonderful. They treat you like family .Nothing beats spending a weekend at 7200 feet! Will definitely be back again. P.S. the breakfast burrito and wings are a must try!

Lakeshore Resort is the only place near Huntington Lake that offers campsites with full hook ups. This place has never let us down, hosts are super friendly, camp sites are well taken care of, and the bath rooms are always kept super clean .

Very cozy and cute. Nice features and amenities. Resort fee is a little ridiculous. Everyone is very nice and helpful. Close to all the campgrounds and the beach.

This property is a disaster. Only 3 cabins have been renovated. Even those had no (zero) tables and chairs inside. Nothing to sit on or eat at inside at all. There were 2 tiny chairs and a tiny table that the manager said she bought from her garage. The driveway was dirt/mud. The drive up the hill was rough. No view of the lake. The surrounding cabins not yet renovated were rotted and decayed. The main restaurant and store and connected lodge were closed. The bar was open but was small and smelly and didn’t open until 1100 on Monday. There was no free continental breakfast as the website indicated. As they say, they don’t interface well with *******. Check in was bizarre

Beautiful area, the people are great! Fishing is always is fun when you catch fish! Overall a perfect place to have some for a couple days!

Where do I begin!!! The spots are ALOT smaller than advertised. There are no pull through spots like mentioned, The housekeeping was subpar, site 12 and 13 are basically one site so don’t book either. I recommend checking it out before you book. Camp hosts are nowhere to be found, there is nowhere to check in. Pretty unorganized! Trash all over the ground, missing hose bib keys, access road is horrible, good luck! We ended up moving to China Peak.
