Stunning & welcoming hotel. Great rooms that are spacious and well equipped, residents lounge, fabulous food in a beautifully positioned restaurant. Views you can’t stop looking at. Staff are knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. Nice touch with binoculars dotted around so you can see everything the surroundings has to offer. Limited parking. Would stay here again.

The setting of this hotel on a loch side is stunning and so peaceful. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The service, food and general deco excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed our short stay.

Avoid room 2 it has a view of a wall, it’s very small and the bathroom needs changing to provide a usable shower.

Beautiful location, stunning views, well presented and fresh seafood. Would certainly go back. The boat trip is interesting if you want to learn about the local wildlife and geology.

Fabulous room with balcony the most amazing views looking over the loch. This trip was for my husband s 70th birthday, staff went above and beyond, especially Mitch who made our stay extra special !! Every meal was top quality Would differently return.

On our captivating NC500 journey, we were treated to a remarkable stay at Kylesku Hotel. This charming establishment, perched by the lochside in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, surpassed all our expectations and served as a perfect respite on our road trip. The setting of Kylesku Hotel is undeniably stunning. Nestled beside the serene Loch Glencoul, the hotel offers panoramic views that change enchantingly with the weather and time of day. The sight of the peaceful loch, surrounded by the rugged grandeur of the mountains, was an experience in itself. Our room at the hotel was thoughtfully designed, combining modern comfort with rustic charm. It was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with amenities, and the window offered a beautiful view of the loch. The attention to detail, from the plush bedding to the tastefully selected decor, reflected the hotel's commitment to ensuring guest comfort. The real showstopper at Kylesku Hotel, though, would be the dining experience. The restaurant serves up a menu focusing on locally sourced seafood, unfortunately we not try it as my wife has a garlic / seafood allergy. The breakfast, too, was hearty and satisfying, with a variety of options to choose from. The staff at Kylesku Hotel were commendable. They were welcoming, friendly, and professional, always ready to assist or offer recommendations for local walks and sights. Despite its remote location, the hotel was easy to find on the NC500 route, with ample parking available. Its location made it an excellent base for exploring the surrounding Highlands. In conclusion, Kylesku Hotel is a delightful stop on the NC500 journey. With its breathtaking location, comfortable accommodations, exquisite food, and warm hospitality, it offers a uniquely Scottish experience that enriches any Highland adventure. We left Kylesku Hotel with fond memories, and we can't wait to return. if they would have chargers for Electric Cars that would be perfect :-)

Everything was nice during our stay. However, there were two things that were disappointing. We pre-booked 3 packed lunches for our checkout day and later found out that there were only 2 sandwiches in the bag. Also, one of us left his personal item in the room and was told to contact by email when he called Kylesku. So I wrote them about these and have never received any response. (Before our stay, they did reply to my questions.)

Gone downhill ! Have stayed many times in the past , just not what it used to be . Poor choice on menu for dinner. Seemed short staffed so not able to offer a good level of service . Generally disappointed

We were here last year, and returned again this year for our anniversary. Peter( bar staff) gave us such a warm and professional welcome, it was so special sipping our beer by the fire, and enjoying the stunning view, that is always incredible. Mitch too looked after us brilliantly as well and our dinner was stunning. We had mussels and smoked mackerel pate which was lovely and the fish and chips for main was just incredible, so fresh and perfectly cooked. Our room was so lovely (thank you Leigh ) and the atmosphere in the hotel is so chilled and relaxed and the team work really hard to ensure everything runs smoothly. Breakfast was exceptional too, amazing smoked trout with scrambled eggs- just divine - this is a very special place indeed.
