보아비스타 골프 & 스파 - 벨라 콜리나 빌리지(Boavista Golf & Spa - Bela Colina Village)

Great property. Walls are thin though. Restaurants at the property have great food but not a great ambiance.

The property was amazing but seriously lack noise barriers. You could hear EVERY car that passed on the road. If your neighbor is talking you can hear the entire conversation. The staff were not particularly nice, some were even rude and not accommodating.

My husband and I arrived at this resort at 3 pm on Sunday, Oct 8, 2023. The place is out of the way. Upon checking in, the reception lady was telling us that the stay was without breakfast. We explained to her and her colleague sitting next to her (he seemed to be the manager on duty) that I was an ******* VIP Gold member and showed them the booking confirmation from ******* that also stated my membership status and its benefits. I told them that we would at least get the benefit of free breakfast. Unfortunately, they refused to honour it. I asked them to contact *******, again they refused and asked me to call ******* by myself. Being foreigners, we told them that we did not have access to make an international call and we were sure that being listed under ******* platform, they should be able to make calls to ******* when needed. So, we told them that we would just sit in the reception area until the matter was resolved to which they said rudely “Go ahead.” We sat there waiting for them to do something to solve the matter; unfortunately, they did not care at all. When the new shift person came in, we talked to him asking for his help, he refused, too. They insisted that they could only provide a bottle of champagne. After a long wait, they finally lent me their phone. While on the phone with *******, the self-declared manager on duty yelled at me asking to return the phone. It took three good hours to check in. A horrible treatment by a hotel, let alone a five-star one.

Good sized 2 bedroom villa withnpool views on a very large golf complex. Communal areas were well kept and the pools were excellent. The layout of the villa was a little odd and the downstairs double bedroom was rather small: partly due to the unnecessarily large bathroom next door. Appliances were Smeg amd the kitxhen and dining facilities were excellent. Upstairs there was the main longe wnd master bedroom. This bedroom was far bigger and it had an ensuite with a shower above the bath. The indoor pool and gym is based at the golf reception, wich was about half a mile away. For a 5* resort, it was disappointing that you either need to upgrade to a different package, or pay to use both the gym and indoor pool. After paying, you only have a 1 hour time slot....again which was rather disappointing. Overall though, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it. A car is essential as the resort is a 10 minute drive to beach / restaurants/ shops.

This property is absolutely beautiful! Our apartment had everything we needed and check in was so easy. It is close to the main part of the city. Would recommend and return!

Beautiful place. Very clean. Had everything that we needed. One of the nicest pools we’ve been in. Excellent location. Had a problem with the door lock when we arrived. Staff came right away to help.

A great vacation, we were surprised by the level of hospitality and service. Varied, fresh and delicious breakfast. No doubt we will be back

Excellent property with nice clean decor and high quality finish. Very enjoyable stay with family. The only negative perhaps partly due to the large size was that the gym and spa were too far away meaning despite staying 6 nights we never got to use it.
