Nice new bathroom but stained shower cubicle and strong smell of sewage! Carpet from the late 70s and badly stained aircon and heater controls don’t work, confirmed by staff with a shrug. Place appears empty, not bad value and good location. You have to drive through a supermarket car park to access which is odd Better hotels out there. Avoid

Overall, a good hotel, with ample parking and friendly staff. Unable to try the pool/facilities, as came late. Continental breakfast was also fine for the price.

Really nice and friendly staff. Next to a supermarket, boulangerie-cafe etc and within walking distance from Vaubian. The downside is that the hotel needs a thorough renovation. It's outdated. The balconies are very small and some to the back street with no view. The carpets are decades old and if one has allergies or asthma, one can have respitatory symptoms. Luckily during the summertime we were able to sleep with the windows open, so it was a little better. We stayed in an apar**ent and there was an on-off bad smell of a really bad sewage. Most likely the plumming was the cause. I filled a water bottle with the tap water. I'm used to that in France the tap water is safe to drink in the kitchen. A day later the water had a really bad smell and taste. One person had had only 1 glass of tap water and their stomach got very upset. The wifi doesn't work.

The staff is nice and helpful and were primpt to deal with the minor issues we had eith the apar**ent. They are the the reason for the second point i.e. without them it would have been only 1 star. The hotel is outdated. It should be renovated, thoroughly. For me, the most concerning issues are the possible health hazards. I have allergies and luckily it was summer so we were able to sleep Windows etc open, because the carpets are decades old and even my not-so-sensitive partner got some symptoms. I was taking my allergy and as**a meds to the max. Another health concern is the tap water. I filled a bottle with it and when I opened it a day later, it had a really weird and vad smell and side taste. Unfortunately, I had had a small glass of tap water earlier and my stomach went havoc the following night. I've lived in France and travelled around the country for months and not used to be wary of the tap water in the kitchen unless there is a sign warning not to drink it. The outdated and way too old carpets and the risk related to the tap water make this hotel the worst I've ever stayed in in France. These are not the fault of the staff, but the owners who should renovate the place and updaye it to meet the standards of today.

Overnight stay en route from Italy back to UK. Have stayed previously but this time hotel looked tired. Weather very hot but hotel has no working air con!!!!!! Asked at reception as room had controls in room for AC but told hotel has no working AC. Found room to be noisy as had semi shared balcony. Also people smoking off balcony so unable to open window to help with ventilation. Expensive hotel for the quality provided.

Obviously an old hotel which has been poorly refurbished. It is the end of October and the room was not warm. Air conditioning unit was broken and the inadequate radiator went off overnight. No additional bedding in the room and no way to contact reception (our room was on 4th floor). I slept in my clothes!

Per una notte va bene, nulla di eccezionale. La cosa più antipatica è stata l'accoglienza, fanno finta di non capire l'italiano pur essendo a pochi chilometri dal confine. Normalmente se non conoscono la lingua (già strano per un albergo turistico) dovrebbero quantomeno sforzarsi un pò di più. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo.

Changement de direction, l’hôtel se fait une beauté sans pareil !!! Personnel aux petits soins, déco refaite, petit-déjeuner complet, offre d’activité supplémentaire piscine chauffée couverte avec terrasse offrant une vue sûre de superbe montagne, bref un week-end inoubliable. Nous y retournerons sur cet été. Reste des choses à faire, mais l’équipe travaille bien.
