핑카 마리사(Finca Marisa)

My wife and I had a fantastic holiday at Finca Marisa, our suite was very spacious and had a beautiful view on the surrounding mountains and see. After starting the day with an exceptional good breakfast with Canarian touch we explored this special island Lanzarote. In the evening you have the possibility to enjoy in the neighbourhood at walking distance local nice restaurants. Also the staff at the Finca is very friendly and always open for suggestions how to spend you day exploring the island. We can only recommend your stay at the Finca. Patrick & Bea, Belgium.

My husband and my college daughter and I stayed at the Finca Marisa B&B for a week and left wishing we had booked longer. From the stylish and comfortable room to the freshly cooked home-baked breakfast in the cozy lounge and jacuzzi, swimming pools created by Dennis on his art, it's a fantastic base from which to explore the island. The owners are warm and friendly, with lots of useful knowledge about the area. In short, it's a home from home - if your house is spotless, beautifully decorated and overlooking a magical coastline. I would heartily recommend it to you. Tip: do a nice bbq yourself and go to the local shop, after fish and meat.

From what I understood, the estate was in a decrepit state when the current manager took over and she has been doing her best to renovate it. The result is startlingly impractical but pretty. To access the largest room (which is in a separate building) you need to unlock a narrow door, wiggle your luggage or bikes past a large ornamental lava rock, walk along a narrow slippery stretch between a tiny but deep pool and a wall, which is again blocked by a lava boulder… before reaching a second door that needs unlocking too. I mention the locks because you get four unmarked keys and unlocking requires guesswork. The rooms were clean. The kitchen and bathroom were smelly, but we simply kept the doors closed. More disturbing was the smell of the towels. It was really disturbing. As if the washed laundry of that place wasn’t allowed to dry properly. There are many more things that simply aren’t thought trough and give the place an unfinished DIY home works atmosphere : three different haphazard wifi networks; nowhere to put you shampoo and soap in the shower, no real spot for your clothing, sliding doors that don’t slide and never lock, a minor flood when you take a shower etc. What we did enjoy however was the breakfast (tasty ingredients !), the very friendly staff, and the view. The location is beautiful - calm (apart from barking dogs), sunny with a pretty view. Overall, I enjoyed my stay but the room rates are too high for a place that is in need of professional improvement.

We did not like the place. We booked one of the most expensive rooms but it was dark, the bed very bad, the couch impossible and the hard chairs - were hard. There was only a rain shower so you got all wet (including the hair which you do not want get washed every day) as well as the floor. The used toilet paper should be disposed in the trash can, I feel even bad when I write it. The cheap rooms are in the basement and the "better" rooms up but close to the reception. There is no isolation so it is always a noisy place. We also booked it because the stated in *********** that they had heating. But that was not true. They also wrote that they had TV service "like Netflix", also not true. We paid for four nights but stayed only one night and where happy to be away. The owners offered other rooms (which could not be better than one of the best rooms) or a coupon.

The room very nice, breakfast the best, location is perfect, the hospitality is very professionally. They have 2 beautiful swimming pool, two jacuzzi and one stone/ water part special for legs blood circulation, per total you cannot leave from Finca Marisa disappointed.

Beautiful room, very nice areas to hang around during the day and night (whirlpools), fantastic breakfast, incredible landscapes all around & flexible and very nice staff. We had a wonderful stay at Finca Marisa with our young son. We will gladly come back!

I really enjoyed the beautiful Finca and great breakfasts. And Marisa was a lovely host. I would recommend this place to anyone! It’s a perfect place for a quit get away with private little corners and great views!
