Hôtel de France

Hello, today I wanted to book a room in Hotel France in Monaco. I called them by phone number which is placed on their website. A lady answered me and told that there is a room which cost much more cheaper than other hotels in Monaco and asked me to provide my surname, email and all the details of my credit card. I provided email and my surname and even thought to tell the card number but the lady asked me also to provide expiry date and CVV which is super insecure. I told that lady that to provide all the card details (especially CVV) to unknown person is a bad idea. Than the lady told me that without cvv and expiry date she can not book the room and that I need to trust her that she won't use it somehow. I refused to provide all the card details and asked the lady to tell me her name and position, because I would like to consult with the police if that's ok for Monaco hotels. Than she told that there is no room for me in the hotel and hung up the phone . I think that it is super unprofessional and insecure to ask all the card details by phone. I hope that that lady working in the hotel is not a fraudster but still it is quite strange. I won't recommend that hotel to anyone

Worst hotel ever. Never seen such a bad service. The receptionist is rude and shouts at you when you check in. He is alone and makes you wait ten minutes before even looking at you then shouts at you. Avoid this place. It’s a disgrace especially for Monaco.

In diesem Hotel stimmt einfach gar nichts. Das fängt schon beim Frühstück an. Keine Wurst, keine Eier, Käse nur manchmal. Kaffee geht einigermaßen. Das Zimmer war klein, kaum Ablagemöglichkeiten, der Fernseher Miniformat. Kein Lift. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte gut. Badezimmer schimmelig, das Waschbecken so klein, dass man dauernd was berühren musste. Der Wasserstrahl dürftig. Das Zimmerpersonal war freundlich. Das man immer den Zimmerschlüssel abgeben muss, nervt einigermaßen.

Bon hôtel ** étoiles en plein centre de la Condamine et à deux pas de la place d'armes et du port ; les chambres sont petites mais confortables et climatisées et la literie est en très bon état. Le petit-déjeuner classique est bon et cet l'hôtel offre en plus un service de bagagerie, gardien de nuit et même un mini bar. Très bon accueil à la réception et charmantes hôtesses au petit-déjeuner. Rien à redire je suis un fidèle client et après 6h30 de train de Paris, cet hôtel est à moins de 5 minutes à pied de la gare de Monaco Monte-Carlo ce qui est très appréciable.

Hôtel aux murs réalisés en papier à cigarettes, chambres exiguës, très petites on a du mal à tourner autour du lit, chambres qui se dégradent au fil du temps, traces d’humidité au niveau des plinthes. Bon pour une nuit lorsqu’on ne trouve rien d’autre.

Le seul hôtel 2 étoiles de Monaco qui est très bien placé plein centre près de la place d'armes. La chambre petite mais confortable et très propre avec une bonne literie et très calme. Le petit-déjeuner classique est bon. Un bar à votre disposition ainsi qu'un concierge 24h/24 et une bagagerie. Vraiment rien à redire pour cet hôtel sur Monaco et le prix tout à fait correct. Le personnel jeune, italien pour la plupart est souriant et serviable. Une première pour moi dans cet hôtel et j'y retourne dans 15 jours pour finir l'été
