라 알데아 스위트(Hotel la Aldea Suites)

This hotel exceeded my expectations. You feel welcomed from the start, very friendly staff. It is a quiet place for families and retirees, not for party folks. The kitchen is small but fully equipped, it has everything you may need to make your own meals. Which is great when you are on a budget or don't feel like going to a restaurant. We went to one of the local supermarkets and bought everything we needed to make our own meals several times. So, the only few less positive things to say are the limited pool hours, 10:00 to 1800, and limited parking in the area. At times you need to leave your car at the bottom of the hill and walk about 13 mins one way. A parking ticket can cost you 100 euros if you leave your car on a not designated parking spot. Do I recommend it? definitely. Would I come back? Yes, but this time I would spend all of my time in Gran Canaria there. The southern part of the island is, in my opinion, offers great beaches, and it is relatively close to many other great sites to visit nearby.

Hotel is close to the centre of the town with it's own underground car park. Check in was easy and room was perfect for my stay. Plenty of restaurants and shops in the local area. The town is quiet and safe, no problem with walking around at night. Would recommend the hotel for anyone looking for a place to stay

just back from spending 2 weeks at the La Aldea Suites , staff and breakfast were amazing ...it was so nice and quiet and the area did nit attract any unwanted guests ! I would go back there and of course recommend the hotel !

Very nice hôtel in a very nice location of Gran Canaria. Breakfast was very generous. Setting is also very pleasant.

Just finished our 10 night stay at La Aldea and we already can’t wait to return. We previously visited here 5 years ago and loved it so much we decided to re-book and stay longer this time. This is easily one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at. The staff here truly are exceptional! They’re all so welcoming, friendly and not to forget extremely hard working. From the reception staff, to the breakfast team, housekeeping and evening staff - everyone was excellent. The buffet breakfast has everything you could possibly need to start your day properly - cereal, fruit, bread, cheese, meats.. We noticed a lot of the staff would finish up with breakfast and then move on to housekeeping. The rooms were consistently kept super clean throughout our stay with the staff always stopping to say hello as we were passing by. The location may not be to everyone’s tastes as it is located far out from the main nightlife scene but to us this is exactly what we were looking for. We enjoyed every single moment of the peace and quiet whilst staying here, just like we did the last time we visited. We couldn’t recommend this place enough if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway. Friendly receptionist, good breakfast buffet, facilities a bit worn, but all in all OK. Good value for money

A really super hotel, lovely staff in a peaceful location. So much nicer than the touristy areas. The hotel itself was beautiful with beautiful views a lovely swimming pool and jacuzzi. Breakfast was also very good. It was out of season and really quiet when I stayed so I appreciated the effort that was put in. I was so happy I went and hope to go again!

What a cracking hotel tucked away in the hikers paradise of central Gran Canaria! large rooms, everything you'd need, a pool (a bit chilly in winter mind!) and a breakfast that must be in the top 10 of "how many options do I have!" Looking forward to returning soon.

Lovely hotel situated in a charming town with friendly locals. Large spacious room with balcony overlooking town and mountains. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices.
