Royal Holiday Palace

A dated hotel with great staff but poor chefs and DJ. The rooms are comfortable and large but like most of the hotel, dated. It has a very firm mattress that will leave you a little stiff in the morning and a TV that's so old it might as well not work. That being said the rooms are well air conditioned with a very quiet unit and the rooms are well noise insulated with us being completely unaware if we had neighbors or not. The shower is also fantastic. The all inclusive experience is let down by the fact that the food is really poor. There are some exceptions like the lunchtime kebabs but on the whole you will be disappointed. It's bad enough that we was put off paying for the option extra restaurants because we didn't want to pay extra for what seemed like inevitable poor food, even though they should really be included like at other all inclusive resorts. The pools is nice but utterly ruined by the constant obnoxiously loud music, the place is massive but you cannot escape the noise even on the far side. It is so loud that even with noise canceling headphones you are still bothered by it, having a conversation with your partner in the sun lounger next to you is almost impossible. The waterslides are good fun but the other hotels in the surrounding area seem to have larger versions. The seas a little murky and not very inviting however they do a good job in providing shade on the beachfront. I must add that all of the staff (including entertainment team screaming over the poolside mic) are very welcoming and friendly. Great customer service, especially highlighted by being given towels and shower access after checking out but with a late airport departure. A mention should be made for the ground and cleaning staff. The place is immaculate, the cleanliness or the whole complex is fantastic. We paid a fraction of the advertised price as we booked last minute and slightly off season with the hotel maybe half full from our guess. We felt like we just about got our money's worth at this reduced price but would be very disappointed if we had paid the full amount. We are lucky to have stayed in hotels all over the world and unfortunately this one was short of our expectations especially as a supposed 5 star resort. We wouldn't return and would advise others to try slightly more modern looking hotels in the same area if they are set on Antalya.

Firstly I would like to say that the hotel is really lovely. The staff are really friendly and can’t do enough for you, in fact they work so hard and are very proud of their hotel. Sadly I had a really bad experience in terms of dealing with a German guest/ family. Before I go a head I would like to express this is not a complaint about all the German guests, and this is an isolated incident to one particular family. My son is nine years old and autistic, due to him being extremely vulnerable I still take him in the female toilet because he is scared to go alone in the men’s. When I say he comes in with me, I would to stress that if the toilet is full we would check first it’s ok for him to enter, or we would more than happily wait outside until it’s empty. Sadly on this occasion we entered the toilet and the German lady and her daughter started screaming in my sons face you shouldn’t be in here!! Now the English wasn’t good, but good enough to insult us and scare the hell out of him. This vile lady then went to go outside in the seating area to tell all her family who then all felt the need to point and GLARE at him. My son was traumatised!! And thank god it didn’t cause a massive autistic meltdown! We didn’t intentionally go in there and are always respectful of anyone in there toilet! To some this might sound very trivial, but I would never shout at anyone’s children, and anyone with a child with additional needs will totally feel how upsetting this. What was really sad was even at breakfast and dinner the same family continued to point and stare at my son, which lead me to going to guest relations. Guest relations were absolutely fantastic and extremely kind and understanding. I don’t know her name but she was in the office at the back with dark hair, she really understood autism and how hard it is to be away from home. She really was lovely!! I don’t know the reception team names but they was really good too. Turkey really love children and I appreciate the kindness they showed. I enjoyed the holiday, and the hotel was absolutely stunning, but sadly I wouldn’t return because I think travelling with a child with additional needs, it would be easier to find a hotel more British based clientele due to them understanding probably more.

Going home tomorrow from a wonderful time at this fabulous hotel. The hotel itself is stunning, the public rooms are gorgeous with the biggest chandeliers I've ever seen! Food is plentiful and excellent. What really makes things special is the attentive service from the staff at this hotel. They truly looked after us the whole stay. We have had a lovely holiday and hope to come back soon. Thankyou to all the wonderful staff at this gorgeous hotel. You deserve a great review!

5 stars does not do this hotel enough justice. Incredible hotel and holiday made all the better by the incredible and welcoming staff. They could not have done more for me and my family. They have truly looked after us and made our stay and our short Easter break something to remember forever. Special mention to Recep and ‘Speedy’. 2 amazing people who really made our holiday for our 2 young children (6 & 9). I would book this hotel again. No hesitation. We’ll be back!

I don’t get the overtly positive reviews of this hotel, we came back the past weekend. But if i have to be honest I truly saw better hotels with much better services than Holiday Palace. Wings and Dragon service wise is higher than this one. I also saw a lot missed maintenance especially on the paint jobs, wallpaper curling up and in the restaurant i expected it to be cleaner. Also no fresh juice even Dragon has fresh juice during breakfast. Lots of waiters only help you when you pay them extra in the main restaurant. The food was good, the cleaning of the room could have been better. The entertainment team was not so entertaining. They only came everywhere when they wanted to sell you a bingo ticket the rest of the week only found at activity pool. The food is okay, in the first week you scream wow but the second week it got repetitive. I personally loved the chicken wrap and the cheesecake at the snack restaurant. Mexican, Italian and Asian evenings we’re my fave.

This hotel cannot be considered a 5 star hotel Here are some unacceptable points: 1) when we first arrived we didn’t receive any information about the hotel, where the restaurants, pools were etc. 2) service was poor. Every time we visited the restaurant we weren’t greeted by a staff member until we spoke to them. There were stones we stood there and staff just walked past without even acknowledging us 3) food was not at a 5 star standard. There was plenty of choice but the food was cold and the quality wasn’t very good. The bread wasn’t fresh and food was bland. We got sick from the food, there were a number of other guests we spoke to who also got sick 4) entertainment staff were rarely seen, only in one pool area. Entertainment staff made little effort to talk to people, they didn’t approach us to let us know what entertainment or activities were on each day.. one staff member was seen sat on his phone the whole time during a volleyball game, ignoring the players and not interacting. One female staff member gave my wife a terrible look. There was only 1 female staff member who spoke to us on our last day who had been there just 1 week, the rest ignored us as we walked past 5) on our final day our check out was 12pm but our flight wasn’t until the evening. We weren’t told by staff that there was a shower room we could use, we only found this out on Facebook. 6) not many of the staff spoke English so it was very difficult to ask for something as we weren’t often understood Positives: 1) the pool area is impressive. The water park and surrounding areas were great. There was one member of staff called Ali around the pool who was fantastic, the other staff should take example from him 2) the pier was lovely. Nice breeze during the day, always found a sun bed and nice bar. The coffees were really nice. 3) the hotel was immaturely clean, we often saw staff cleaning and maintaining the property on a daily basis 4) the hotel facilities and the look of the hotel are beautiful. It’s a stunning building just a shame some things let it down. The room was cleaned every day to a high standard and the maids were friendly 5) the club night was great fun

We stayed here in July 2022. Husband, wife and 8 year old. The facilities were fantastic and the food was really good. The entertainment was good and the staff were very helpful and attentive. Whilst here I had an issue that needed some medical attention, and existing things, nothing holiday related. I was looked after amazingly well by the staff and was extremely grateful. Definitely recommend some of the waterfront activities and excursions.

I enjoyed everything about this hotel. Rooms are big, very clean and bed is comfortable. The staff are willing to go all the way to make you happy. Service is very good. The food is delicious with loads of different dishes and the desserts are to die for. If you want a family friendly hotel with loads of activities to keep you busy and make you happy, then this is that hotel.

I was already 3rd time in this hotel If there would be something wrong I wouldn't be there 3 times As always very good service I have to say the Guest Relations team really care about the guests they recognize our family, this is really nice. SPECIAL thanks for the kids club team especially for AKMARAL and FATMANUR. my daughter really loved them they know how to care about children ❤️ What can I say ? See you in the next year 😘
