포 빌리지 인(Four Villages Inn)

This was my first time staying at 4 Villages but in the past had picked up colleauges from the property. It was a lovely stay! I told the owner that the shower I had on my first morning there was the best I ever had in West Africa! On certain days I had to be out early attending to work meetings and breakfast was always ready for when I needed it to be. Very comfortable and clean rooms and much more charming than staying at a hotel! Bonus is one of the dogs on the property is the offical greeter!

I liked pretty much everything about the Four Villages - we stayed at two places in Kumasi, one on the way from Accra to Mole and the other on the way back. I wish we had have stayed here on the way back as well. The Four Villages was run by a mother and son team and was very homely (NOT the US meaning, more the UK meaning ie "cozy and homelike") - the rooms were comfortable, breakfast was great and it was very nice talking to the owners. The location was pretty good as well - quiet but easy to get to the center (with a car)

During a three week tour of west Africa this was the best hotel I stayed in outside of Accra. It’s a splendid large home. My room was very big and decorated beautifully. It is much like an American B&B and the breakfast was exceptionally good. Highly recommended!

It's 20 years since I first stayed with Chris and Charity in this little gem of a guesthouse. Now run by their son Frank it has lost none of its substantial charm. The high standards of care, the warmth and attention to detail shown by Frank and his team are a credit to the family name and I cannot recommend Four Villages Inn highly enough to anyone wanting a uniquely Ashanti experience with all the comforts of home and a lot more besides! And do take a tour of the market with Comfort, her knowledge and network of friends will give you access to anything at all you want to buy along with a wealth of knowledge of all.things Kumasi, even as it changes and evolves with massive new market development projects she is just as happy, smiling and wonderful as she was 20 years ago exactly!

It was a amazing stay. We made a mistake with our booking, wich was solved instantly by the host. The host is very nice and helped us a lot. The interior is Beautiful and made us feel home. The Breakfast was fantastic and made every Morning to a god morning. We are very thankful, that we were able to stay in this wonderful Hotel.

We chose to stay here several days as we visited Kumase for the third time, but the first in over 30 years. We couldn't have chosen better. The room was comfortable with everything we needed, including a reasonably priced minibar. The free breakfast each morning was a delight. The owner, Frank, is a knowledgeable source for Kumase and Asante in general with lots of personal experience.

It is a very cozy hotel. Frank the host is very helpful for question and. with the excellent breakfast. The room we had is spacious and tastefully decorated. The only drawback is that there is no shower and you have to shower while sitting in the bathtub.

I stayed here ten nights and would recommend Four Villages to anyone staying in Kumasi. I normally don't stay in B &B's, but Four Villages was like a home away from home. The host was more like a friend than a host, very accommodating and an excellent source of knowledge about the local area. The room was comfortable, the staff was great, i felt secure, and the whole experience was what a vacation is about, to relax. No doubt this is where I will stay on my next visit to Kumasi.

This former private mansion is now a quiet hotel with only four rooms and a huge common area. Its interior seems to date from the 60s or 70s, but is very well maintained and equipped. Frank, the owner, is a top guy and helps wherever he can. The breakfast is stunning and comes with real coffee, milk and butter apart from the fresh fruit salad and tasty omelette. Definitely a go-to if one’s looking for a relaxing place in busy Kumasi!
