Hotel Grand Continental Kuala Terengganu

Location is great but the hotel is a bit outdated. The room comes with basic amenities like bar soap, shower gel and shampoo. No tooth brush, pen and paper. The room however is clean and big. The breakfast selection is great with a variety of food to choose from but limited seating area especially on peak times. On the brighter side, the location is excellent where there is a KTCC mall walking distance from the hotel. You can also walk to the beach to enjoy beautiful evening and there are a lot of eateries nearby.

Hotel is spacious, but a little bit old, staff friendliness is so so, wat was terrible is the muddy water supply, I don't think anyone especially the tourist would like to come to a place with turbid and muddy water supply like tis, see with ur own eyes from the picture I attach...

The check in process is smooth. The room is spacious & clean but the toilet is so small with shower inside the bathtub, means you need to climb in the tub everytime to take a shower. We got room with connecting door and no soundproof at all, you can hear everything from the other room. Aircond is not so cool even we set it at lowest temperature. The breakfast is so so and there is no signature food nasi dagang there, only have nasi goreng & bihun goreng with other usual food. What good is the location & the view only. Overall its pleasant to stay but not going to repeat again. Thank you.

Room was bad, beds were dirty, and air con was not cold. They dis offer us a new room. We went to the room o ly to find that the air con there is broken. Staff were lazy watching Malaysian war movies on the showcase TV. Shopkeeper never greeted us. Pool was lazy being a square filled with water and only 2 options for breakfast food. Gym and lobby was very hot and gym looked like a gym slaves would use being 6 pieces of equipment line up. Would not recommend.

The room was bad. The bathroom was very small. The swimming pool is just a square of water. The staff is watching TV on the hotel tv. The gym looks like a an underwater gym efore being flooded.Its just 6 pieces of broken equipment laid on the floor. The air conditioning did not work. Had to change room but the air conditioning still did not work. Will definitely rate it a 0 put of 5. I wouldn't go back for a million dollars.

The room is spacious, although we faced issue with air conditioner, but the staff ( maintenance, front desk and security) solved our problem very well. 😍

Hotel is old and never refurb or change the furnitures. Even the towel, bed sheet, pillows, mattress were old. Breakfast quality and selections were appalling. Definitely not worth the asking price at all. Not sure how GHI manage this place.
