Wonderfully clean and relatively new hotel. Excellent assistance from Anuja from the front desk & Akhil @ the restaurant. We were on transit for a day and enjoyed our stay here. When in Kottayam, we will be back at the same property.

We stayed at the hotel for a day. We had taken four rooms and even though the trip was on a short notice, the staff was courteous enough to arrange the rooms within a short notice. The food was also nice . The staff are also highly helpful. The hotel is situated in the heart of Kottayam town. I would recommend this hotel anytime.

I have chosen 1 day package for my family in Windsor Castle hotel. Hotel staff are managing well with all the guest and properly communicating for all amenities and fun activities available there. Hotel has huge area with beautifully maintained Garden & river. Good place for clicking wonderful pictures. We enjoyed the coracle ride in their private lake, Lunch and evening snacks was good which was also included in Package. Overall it was a nice property to stay and relax and highly recommending for friends and families

I used to travel and stay at alot of different hotels in kottayam, recently i had the pleasure of staying at hotel arcadia in kottayam and it was truly a wonderful experience! the staff were friendly and accommodating, making sure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The checkout procedure was also seamless, with a minor wait for room inspection, but it was completed within a couple of minutes, which was completely understandable. Overall, i had a great time at hotel arcadia and would definitely recommend it to others. The hotel's efficiency and hospitality made my stay truly memorable!

Our 2nd time here after a 6 year break. We had a ‘pool cottage’ and it was awesome. Not only a small private pool but a private covered area at the back to sit quietly and see the birds and wildlife (butterflies, turtles and water monitors) on the small lake within the hotel grounds. In the evening we could sit on the front porch and watch the sunset over the larger lake. The room was lovely, clean, and quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful. Any ‘complaints’ were really first world problems - sometimes it took a very long time to get served tea/coffee at breakfast (I suggested they need two people working full time just for that one job) and occasionally the food wasn’t that hot. We had half board so our meals were buffet style. There was some confusion about whether tables could be reserved but it seemed they can’t be unless it is a special occasion. That wasn’t made clear. It wasn’t until I got to the next hotel that I realised just how much I’d missed a sifter pillow on the bed but next time I’d ask if they had one! There are various free activities to do plus a complimentary afternoon tea. All rather wonderful!!

It was a lovely trip. For us all the restaurant staff (especially Prisuna and Chef Arun) made the stay as memorable as possible. In a previous review, someone said the staff make up for the shortcomings of management and I can attest to that. We were there to celebrate my birthday and the F&B manager, Prisuna, and Chef Arun went out of their way to help my fiancé organise the most memorable and beautiful birthday celebration yet. I have many dietary requirements and they've always gone beyond and above to adjust the menu to my needs. I'm so grateful to all of them. The location is absolutely beautiful and serene. It's a real gem. You can also book a houseboat experience through reception. It was a nice touch and pleasant surprise to plant our very own sapling before leaving the hotel. The rooms are very comfortable. There are a few things that you'd expect of a five star that you won't find - i E: no minibar or slippers in the room, but it's not serious enough to knock off a star. The staff's kindness, attentiveness and willingness to make this the best stay possible is what stands out.

RRina LamsalVery nice property for layback family vacation. We wanted to escape the crowd during the holidays and Kumarakom was the right choice. Staff is very helpful. Breakfast and lunch were amazing! Kerala home cooked food. The only thing we find not convenient were no hot water for the shower and no fridge in the room. Otherwise place is very nice for couple of days.

리리뷰어i recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful resort, and it was an incredibly relaxing experience. the ambience inside the property is truly pleasing and serene, with a nature-friendly vibe that immediately puts you at ease. the rooms were well-maintained, spacious, and provided a perfect balance of comfort and style. one of the highlights of the resort is definitely the pool—it’s stunning and adds so much to the overall experience. if you’re visiting, i highly recommend opting for the pool-view villas; they offer an unbeatable view and atmosphere. the food was delicious, with a wide variety of options, although slightly on the pricey side. that said, the quality more than made up for it. lastly, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. overall, a wonderful place for a peaceful getaway!

리리뷰어We had two nights stay at picturesque ILLKKALAM LAKESIDE COTTAGE right on the banks of the lake and were. pleasantly surprised as the nature unfolded before us. Good location with good facilities and access to all amenities surrounded by organic farm , nature at its best. Good service through out and personalised care by friendly staff. Freshly cooked homemade tasty food served to your room and relax in front of the room looking over the lake with boats passing by and beautiful sunset views. The best part was the relaxed private sunset boat ride on the lake for two of us with stunning views starting right in front of our cottage. Susan Salin and team have done a wonderful job in making avail of this wonderful property for fortunate few like us. Special thanks to Asha and Arjun who were always helpful and giving us information of local tours and cultures. Not to forget those amazing cooks who cooked meals as per our taste We will definitely going to return and recommend to our friends to visit ILLKKALAM LAKESIDE COTTAGES Thanks once again for serving is the best treat Keep it up 💕🙏😍

It is a budget hotel with a good vegy restaurant. The rooms though small have clean toilet and round the clock hot water supply. The restaurant serves decent tasty vegetarian food. The staff at the desk and restaurant are polite. The linen though washed had stains in it and have scope for improvement. Tea kit is not available in the room and the restaurant opens only at 7:00 AM and hence if you wish to have a tea or coffee in the morning it is difficult. Recommend it for a shorter stay as not much other options are available in Ettumanoor.
