Sidz Cottage

We decided to celebrate my husband's birthday in a quiet, relaxing way this year at Sidz Cottage. We booked a room with a bathtub that was connected to the backwaters ,providing the comfort and open space we needed. We were delighted with our choice, as it perfectly matched our expectations for an ideal lazy, peaceful location. The property was excellently maintained and just 10 minutes away from the Nagaon beachfront. During our stay, we took pleasure in exploring the uniquely designed sit-outs, gazebo, and tree swings, all of which added great character to the property. The setting was mesmerizing in the early evening sunlight and beautifully illuminated in the evenings. We also wanted to explore the newly constructed Atal Setu, which connects Mumbai to navi mumbai The staff were extremely cooperative and helpful, ensuring that all our needs were met. A special mention goes to the owner, who went above and beyond to help me organize my husband's birthday celebration. Within just one hour, he arranged everything, and the results were beyond my expectations. Thank you for providing such a memorable stay. We look forward to visiting again!

Hi! We just checked in after a random thought to touch Konkan beaches. We are a couple currently travelling without our children. Cannot escape expressing the quick services of Mr Nikhil, the manager- very warm and friendly. And yes, the cottages and the space is maintained very pretty. We look forward to a lovely weekend here!

I visited SIDZ cottage with my daughter and her friends and their family. We booked a bungalow for 6 people. SIDZ cottage is a very nice place to spend a good time with family. Well maintained property. The owner is very courteous and helpful. He also gave us a walkthrough of property and other available staying options. Their BLU cottage is an amazing and ideal stay for a family of 4. Food is also good. Overall it was nice experience and we enjoyed a lot.

We decided to celebrate our 12th wedding anniversary in a quite relaxing ceremony this year at the Sidz cottage. Wanted to explore the newly constructed Atal Setu connecting the Mumbai to Navi Mumbai Alibaug. We booked the two bedroom individual Bunglow as we were traveling with our elderly mother and toddler and needed comfort with some open space for ourselves. We were happy we booked the place. As it matched our expectations for an ideal lazy peaceful location with excellently maintained property just 10 minutes away from the Nagaon Beachfront. We cherished our three days break from City routine with our close family. During our stay we enjoyed every moment from early morning sunrise walk by the beach to exploring the very well maintained landscape gardens with beautiful butterflies to every uniquely designed sit outs, Gazebo and tree swings full of character within the property. It's just very mesmerizing in the early evening sunlight and thoughtfully lit in the evenings. Pre ordered Food too was reasonably priced, good to taste and customised based upon our toddler's less spicy request. Each sit outs are very well designed and it's relaxing with evening wind blowing and we munching on snacks and tea/coffee. (I reckon it will be extremely unique level of experience during monsoon). Overall we shall definitely revisit in the future and highly recommend our family and friends too, to visit for a peaceful serene stay away from usual crazy party crowds at Alibaug. Host Sushil & every catering staff were very friendly and approachable which adds to the memorable moments throughout our stay. Kudos to the whole management for their team effort for delivering a great stay experience.

Amazing experience, Excellent food, Clean Cottages, French cottage feel, Near to beaches, caring staff. We were group of 21 people, arrangements dine by Sushil and Shilpa were just outstanding. They had arranged bon fire, popti and evening party. Great place for weekend outing.... Swati

Beautiful place - green, quiet and pristine, artistically decorated too! There are some lovely gazebos, that you can sit in to enjoy the evening and night breeze! The villas, and cottages are cozy, clean and modern. The food deserves a special mention - absolutely yumlicious home food, including the classic Konkani preparation of “Popati”, home made basundi, kheer, Malvani style fish and chicken with bhakri! Just awesomeness! Sushil and Shilpa are fabulous hosts, Had a good time over the weekend at their cottage! We took the RoRo to Mandwa, this place is about 45 mins from Mandwa, 20 mins from Alibaug. It is fairly close to beaches in Konkan belt. The closest one is Nagaon, a black sand beach but is clean, wide and long - about a 15 mins walk from the cottage. You can even drive to kihim (45 mins) or Kashid (50 mins) or visit Murud Janjira fort (about 2 hours) which is what we did.

Humble staff. Very neat and clean room. Very much happy with stay and food. Nice atmosphere and ambiance.very neat and clean surrounding. Rooms are spacious. Well maintained place and good hospitality.

Recently stayed at Sidz Cottage in Nagaon, loved how close it was to the beach and the food was amazing. Felt like a cozy home away from home, definitely worth a visit! The staff were super friendly, making the whole experience even more better.

It was a late decision to travel to Alibaug on the busy Republic day weekend, and we were fortunate to get a booking in one of the highest ranked properties there. The booking process was seamless through a WhatsApp exchange with Sushil, the owner. Mumbai traffic upto the newly opened atal setu meant that we were delayed in reaching Alibaug. We finally reached Sidz at 9.30 pm and were quickly escorted to our room, a beautiful cottage with white and yellow paint. By no means is this a small property as you have an option of cottages, a duplex and a couple of larger villas that are close to the restaurant. The highlight of the place really is the splendid use of color and artistry all around- whether it be the varied colors of the cottages, the beautiful interiors, the splash of colors across rhe various gazebos and external seatings, the sheer abundance of paintings and murals all across the property - it's sheer poetry all across. The property is close to a lake and mangroves, and has many flowering plants, and that means you get a lot of birds visiting, especially in the mornings. The rooms per se are fairly large and have comfortable beds and all the necessary infrastructure. The library has books for all ages, and there are ample options for games such as badminton, table tennis and carrom. Breakfast is a buffet with limited, yet very tasty food. Lunch and dinner are made to order, and very sumptuous. Service is very efficient too, and Sushil and the entire staff were always willing to help. If at all, there is something that can be better is possibly some deeper clean-up in the rooms, given the amount of dust that is floating around Mumbai. The place is very close to the prominent beaches in Alibaug, and is therefore an ideal place to plan a quick weekend trip close to Mumbai. We certainly would like to go back again.
