빅 트리 부티크 호텔(Big Tree Boutique Hotel)

Awesome hotel. Awesome food. Awesome service. Only location is not that good. (Rest could be even 6 stars) You can walk from the pier to the hotel in 10 minutes but you need a lot more for sairee beach where the “action” begins. Get a bike and you are fine

We had a really lovely 5 night stay at this hotel. The location is brilliant if you want somewhere close enough to walk to the busier parts of town but also set back slightly so you aren’t disturbed in the evenings. The rooms had a cosy feel but were a really good size. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We ate a number of times at the adjoining cafe for breakfast and lunch and the food was tasty and fresh. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone staying on Koh Tao. Traveller tips - *The hotel sort laundry for 50Bhat per kilo (which is no more expensive than if you take it into town yourself and super handy!) *If you are interested in diving, the hotel is located about 10 minutes walk from Mae Head pier and a brilliant dive centre called Davey Jones Locker which I’d highly recommend! *There are no mosquito nets in the room but we did have a few in the room so make sure to take bug spray and use it at night. I think they also leave the door open when they clean the rooms which meant we also had a number of caterpillars get in so check the bed and pillows before getting in! *If you got to Sairee beach at night, either get a taxi back or walk back down the beach as the main road is very dark and lots of cars/scooters drive down and it can be a little scary!

There are many things that make the Big Tree one of the most excellent accommodations on Koh Tao. At first glance, the property is located on the main road, making transportation very manageable. There's a 7-11 that opens 24-hours a day right in front. I have only good things to say about the members of the staff team, who are ever so attentive and accommodating. They're very responsive to Whatsapp chat with very good English. Best of all, their cleaning service is amazing! Room is cleaned everyday without fail. I feel refreshed every time I come back after a long day of diving. The room I stayed in was the Holiday Home. It’s spacious, well-designed, has a small kitchenette, and a smart tv to watch Netflix. There’s also a small attic above the bedroom that can be used as a playroom. They are very eco-friendly. The soap and shampoo are all made from natural ingredients and they smell incredible! All in all, I will definitely come back again whenever I visit Koh Tao in the future.

Favorite place in Koh Tao, the owners are so warm and welcoming. A beautiful decorated room and perfect breakfast/lunch restaurant. The food is really good. :)

Perfect for a short break

Big Tree was beautiful and comfortable with excellent service and local recommendations. Breakfasts at their cafe were delicious!

A beautiful boutique hotel immersed in nature and in a great, central location with everything you need nearby. The hotel is run by a lovely family that made us feel completely at home and went above and beyond to accommodate us. The rooms are light, bright and beautifully decorated with stylish decor. There’s a lovely on site cafe that does great breakfast and brunch, with excellent vegetarian options. We don’t usually write reviews and it’s taken us a while to write this one, but we just had to because our time at Big Tree was amazing. We wouldn’t dream of staying anywhere else on Koh Tao and can’t wait to go back!

Zuerst haben wir das Hotel nicht gefunden da es etwas versteckt hinter den Boutiquen, die schon sehr sexy waren war. Im Grunde ist das alles genau gegenüber der großen Tankstelle. Man muss etwas suchen aber man findet es! Die Tochter des Hauses hat uns Freundlich empfangen und uns gleich unser Zimmer gezeigt. Super geschmacklich eingerichtet und tolle Bad! Der kleine Balkon war auch sehr hübsch! Im Grunde war es ein toller Aufenthalt im Big Tree! Wir waren noch in anderen Hotels aber das hat auch von der Preis/Leistung überzeugt. Wenn ihr bucht, bucht bitte direkt bei ihr oder über Facebook oder Telefon. Dann kann sie gute Preise machen. :) Die Tochter hat uns auch tolle Restaurants in der Gegend genannt! Vielen Dank für alles war toll! Wir kommen wieder.
