The beautiful woman who checked us in and out went above and beyond! I booked the wrong night and she allowed me to change with no charge, spoke great english, booked fight tickets for us, airport ride etc. All with a big smile on her face. I think I'm in love haha

The staff at Rattana house are some of the best I’ve seen. So kind, patient and willing to help with any questions. The location is beautiful with an amazing garden full of colour. Can hear birds in the morning and have a quiet start to your day. The restaurant at the entrance is great for breakfast lunch and dinner.

Decent bungalows, a bit old style but no problems. There were some roaches but that’s common tbh. Location is nice, a quick walk down to the beach where there’s also a nice restaurant! Another great restaurant is Ban Ja Yai that’s just up the road. Would definitely stay here again, also the staff is SUPER nice and helpful, 5/5 staff without a doubt.

My partner and I stayed here for 7 nights and absolutely loved it. The room is spacious, comfortable and very quiet at night, the pool is lovely, the grounds are well maintained and the restaurant is great. The location of this hotel couldn’t be any better as it’s in the heart of Chaweng but tucked away enough that you aren’t impacted by the noise and it’s only a 2 minute walk to the beach. The host is so lovely and helpful. She let us borrow a kettle and mugs for the room and lent us plates etc when we needed them. She was so accommodating. The rooms get cleaned daily and fresh water is always provided. We would definitely stay here again!

Most friendly staff, and great service. We stayed only for one night, but will for sure return to this place when we go back. Close to walking street, close to the beach, has a decent pool, and they have made a cozy environment around the rooms with flowers, plants ect. The options for eating is several, and they are very helpful if there is anything you would need. They have a small mini sop with some snacks, drinks and what you would need if you stay a bit longer. There is almost no sound from the busy streets/traffic or bars, and it’s a short walk to the beach. If there is one minus, that would be that we wish we had a bit softer beds, and maybe also duvets. But the pillows were good ☺️

Rattana guesthouse 1 e verdieping kamer met balkon 2 ligstoelen , doesh 2 flesjes water elke dag handdoeken , lakens verschoond om de 3/4 dagen dus , poetsen elke dag je kamer , het is wat in oudere staat maar voor die prijs in 2023 € 30 per nacht alles ligt paar meters lopen van de zee , centrum , restaurantje , supermarkt , scooter verhuur . Alles is er groen mooi verzorgd , zwembad alles is gezellig & rattana zelf kun je ook ontbijten. Lunch dinner , als je veel leest in Nederlands boeken zelf meenemen je mag ze daar laten En de eigenaresse en dochter de rest zijn hartstikke aardig Veel plezier

Only stayed a night, but place had warm, friendly & welcoming vibes. Family owned & operated. Yes, the place is dated & could do with some minor TLC. But it’s a room with all the things you need on a trip to a beach island in Samui.
