자젠 부티크 리조트 & 스파(Zazen Boutique Resort & Spa)

This hotel is wonderful! From the moment you enter from a busy main rd it is an oasis of calm. The front house staff were very efficient and welcoming. Our garden villa was amazing, huge, big comfy bed, coffee machine, lovely terrace…. Just beautiful. And then we went to the pool… wow, wow, wow it was wonderful. Best sunbeds ever, pool overlooking the ocean, drinks and food service with a smile. The lady who seems to run the pool/restaurant area was incredible… so very hardworking and attentive. There were some cocktail issues but she is working hard to train the new staff. The design of the whole place is so gorgeous. We didn’t want to leave!

2018년 12월에 Zazen에 머물렀던 우리는 뛰어난 고객 서비스(이전 호텔 리뷰에서 볼 수 있듯이)로 놀라운 경험을 했기 때문에 빨리 돌아오고 싶었습니다. 이번에는 불행히도 같은 경험이 거의 없었습니다. 호텔은 아직 개조/공사 중이므로 이용 가능한 편의 시설과 서비스가 매우 제한되어 있어 1박당 US$300 이상(조기 예약)을 청구해서는 안 된다고 생각합니다. 아직은 소프트 오픈 단계의 초기 단계에 있으며, 호텔은 아직 한동안 예전의 모습을 갖추지 못할 것으로 보입니다. 호텔 경영진은 우리가 결함을 찾아 추천을 전달하는 것을 기쁘게 생각했지만 결국 우리는 손님에게 돈을 지불했습니다. 우리는 방과 레스토랑에 많은 문제가 있었고 관리자는 항상 신속하게 응답하고 사과했습니다. 하지만 이 모든 것은 크리스마스이기도 했기 때문에 호텔이 완성되기까지 얼마나 남았는지 명확하게 전달했어야 했다는 생각을 더해주었습니다. 정말 호텔에서 크리스마스였다는 것을 알 수 있었습니다). 호텔이 완성되면 매우 좋을 것이라는 데는 의심의 여지가 없습니다. 하지만 아직 멀었다는 것을 알았더라면 사무이에서 사용할 수 있는 옵션을 고려하면 우리가 지불한 돈의 가치가 없었을 것입니다. 불행하게도 우리는 오래된 Zazen에서 즐거운 시간과 경험을 한 후 실망감을 느낍니다. 이것은 태국에서 3주간의 여행 중 마지막 호텔 숙박이었으며 위의 모든 이유로 인해 가장 즐겁지 않았습니다.

Just spent 12 nights at Zazen Boutique Resort & Spa.We were a bit hesitant before booking as we know the hotel was being refurbished. But our stay totally exceeded our expectations! The hotel is one of the most beautiful boutique hotels we’ve ever stayed at. The pool and restaurant area are absolutely stunning. The bungalows are set in beautiful gardens, they're beautifully designed, stylish. really spacious with huge bathrooms, minimalist design but functional and everything was always spotlessly clean. Facilities at the hotel are fantastic including a well equipped gym. The location is perfect as it’s set slightly away from the hustle and bustle of Fisherman’s village but close enough to walk which takes about 20 mins. But what really makes Zazen special is the staff. They are genuinely friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. We had couple of issues with our room as the resort has just recently been refurbished so there were some teething problems. The staff were fantastic and sorted the issues out immediately, couldn't do enough for us. Well done Zazen for creating such a special place, an oasis of calm and tranquility on Koh Samui, fabulous! We booked this hotel as an highlight to close of our holiday in Thailand. We arranged everything by ***********. Just 3 weeks before out arrival we were notified that they could not receive us due to a delay in their reconstruction work. Leaving us empty handed and little time to look for a replacement. So, not transparant at all. They care foremost for themselves. Make sure the hotel is open before you book!!

Stylish and chic. Fantastic breakfast - the pool area is gorgeous if quiet and relaxing is what you’re looking for. Rooms are large and beautiful. Very close to the fisherman’s village where there are lots of restaurants and a night market. Staff are all amazing I can’t describe what a fabulous time we had. Special mentions to Bee and King I think that’s his name the porter who couldn’t do enough for you. We will be back! There are only 24 rooms which keeps this hotel unique and civilised Fabulous x

Quite simply one of the best hotels and locations we have ever stayed at! We had a Beachfront apartment and at times it felt like we were on our own tropical island with the sun beds outside our room so close to the sea! The hotel was doing a soft re-opening so the Spa & Pool bar were not open but this didn’t matter as the staff were so attentive and looked after everything for us. (Especially Diane) We would highly recommend this hotel if you want peace & tranquility in luxurious surroundings with the added benefit of not being too far away from the action in Fisherman’s village. We will definitely be back.

I ate here for Christmas dinner. They had a standard and specials menu. Apero was an excellent mojito, then I started with a caesar salad which was exceptional, just perfect. Dressing was quality and bacon was just crispy enough. I had a rack of lamb with olive crust dressing which was cooked to perfection. And then creme brûlée lemongrass which was a lovely change. All in all a wonderful dining experience, my initial disappointment with no steaks available despite the website and several photos was quickly forgotten. Thanks to the lovely staff and the great wine pairing recommendations.

Beautifully renovated boutique resort! A must stay when visiting Koh Samui. We loved the room, the pool and the beautiful setting. Very romantic place for couples. The staff were attentive and took care of our every need. They made our stay absolutely memorable! We would definitely rebook this place next time in Koh Samui.

This resort is completely refurbished in a modern and natural style. A superb experience, both in the villa's and the facilities. Super friendly staff. As a guest in this resort, one feels Queen and King. People and friendly & very helpful.
