선라이즈 리조트(Sunrise Resort- Koh Phangan)

A well located hotel with the most basic amenities. Staff are friendly and helpful if needed. The room and general standard for cleanliness is very poor. When I arrived, the bathroom had someone else’s blood drops on the floor and it remained there for the entirety of my stay. I’m not sure how thoroughly the rooms are being cleaned between guests. Breakfast is simple; not bad, no complaints. Overall, barely satisfactory.

Fine, we went when there was no full moon party so it was dead but I can guess it gets busy then.

Our 3rd stay at the Sunrise Resort ,the staff are extreamley friendly and helpful and the beach front villas are amazing, walk down 2 steps and you are on the beach.

We stayed here for 3 nights and were quite disappointed with the hotel. We paid more for a 3 star here than the 3 star hotel we stayed at in Koh Samui and the hotel was much better in Koh Samui. The bathroom was not clean for us arriving, the floor was dirty. The shower sprays out water and the settings can’t be adjusted. The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful booking us taxis or cleaning our room while we went out for breakfast. However, the staff at breakfast were quite unhelpful. We made a number of basic requests at breakfast that were either misunderstood or ignored. In addition, it was common to find bugs in our food and drink.

Clean room, very close to the beach and bars

I came to stay at Sunrise resort 1st time in June and recently a few day ago. I have to say that I am very happy with Sunrise Resort...lots better than I expected. Start from the location..which is right on Had Rin white sand beach. Good location for full moon party and of course very peacfull before and after. You can easy go down to the beach early in the morning to watch the sunrise and at night to see the moon and enjoy nice cool sea air with your favorite drinks. My room was nice& clean. i got my room on the 2nd floor both time....good ocean view and swimming pool. All staff from the restaurant / front desk /and beach bar are very friendly . All the boys and Pee Kul at the beach front bar are very joyfull. Pizza and cheese burger is the best ...Thai manu also good. Breakfast was good...I got chicken fried rice every morning...and of course you can chose another manu. Location of the resort is easy walk from Had Rin pier when you arrive the island. Around resort you can find lots of restaurants and lots of shops and lots of things to enjoy. There's also a few motorbike rental shops.. you can go places around Koh Pang Ngan easy . will definitely come back and stay again here.

Nice hotel right next to the beach. Great staff, rooms were cleaned everyday, nice pool with ocean view!!
