더 트로피컬 비치 리조트(The Tropical Beach Resort)

What an amazing place. We stayed here for 5 days in the bungalow with the sea view. The bungalow is spacious with all comforts you need. The hostess of the resort was very kind and helpful. With every question you had she was ready to help you. The beach is great and plenty of restaurants to choose from. Also nearby is a deserted resort with a ghostship and a very beautifull waterfall to see. If you go to koh chang and want to avoid the busy tourist places go visit The Tropical Beach resort. You won't regret it!

A hidden gem at the end of klong Kloi beach. Rooms were spacious, and while there is no pool, the resort is right on the beach and the sea is warm and calm. While we stayed the restaurant was not open, so all guests went to the next resort for breakfast. The staff informed us that the restaurant will reopen next year. They have a masseuse right on the beach who are well worth a visit! The only thing to consider is the distance from the main road, we were pretty mobile and happily took tuk tuk taxis to other parts of the island, but those with kids and/or a lot of luggage might find the location a bit remote. There is a place to rent motorbikes nearby (at a reasonable price) but personally, as this area of the island is very hilly, we chose to not rent and just used taxis instead.

Slechte verhouding prijs kwaliteit Veel te veel geld voor dit hotel. Ruime kamer zonder opbergvoorzieningen. Viezige douche en toiletgedeelte. Veel rotsen bij laag water. Camping naast het hotel. Weinig tot niets te doen. Alleen met een scooter kom je ergens. Scooter absolute noodzaak. Veel soort hippie barretjes en restaurantjes bij het hotel. Ongeïnteresseerd personeel. Onze gewassen kleding lag al 2 dagen achter de balie. Bijna de boot gemist naar het volgende eiland omdat het personeel de pick up niet had geregeld. Tropical beach resort voldeed niet aan onze verwachtingen.

酒店環境不錯非常安靜非常適合度假，海灘離酒店很近外國遊客多，可以在海灘邊看看書非常愜意，酒店的服務也很周到總之性價比很高下次來還會住這裏。

Very quiet and the furthest away from where the ferry docks. About 40 mins by road and then the road stops and you walk the 15 mins along the beach to the hotel. Suitcase needs to be transported separately by the hotel. Rooms spartan,(no cupboard or wardrobe or even a stool),bed comfy, bathroom big but basic. Nice little terrace to sit with a rack for towels. Only aircon but no fan sadly. Service friendly but we ate elsewhere mostly. For peace and quiet, it's perfect. Beach is lovely. WiFi surprisingly good.

Tropical is on Klong Kloi beach, right at the very end of the road on the southern most beach on Koh Chang. The bungalows are spacious with large comfortable beds and the air-conditioning works very well & is quiet. The photographs of the resort are accurate & up to date. Whilst they do not have a restaurant currently, breakfast is provided at the Coco Chacha restaurant just a 50m. walk on the beach & is excellent! The surrounding area is well kept & although the beach is a little rocky in front of Tropical, it's just a short walk to find perfectly sandy spots. as well as Coco Chacha restaurant, there are others a short walk along the beach. Cholly, the manager is a wonderful asset to the resort, as is Kong Tub & all the staff are friendly & helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for them. If you need supplies and drinks for your fridge, then I suggest you shop in Bang Bao before you check in or hire a scooter from them to get around.

A slice of paradise! If you are looking for somewhere tranquil and beautiful, with excellent hospitality, on a small budget, this is the place for you. I was looking for somewhere quiet to escape to and relax and this place exceeded my expectations. The bungalows are wonderfully designed and maintained. It felt very special to be able to walk 10 metres straight from bed into the water. The management of the hotel are brilliant. A big thank you to Cholly, Poon and their colleagues for making me feel so welcome and comfortable. When I go back to Koh Chang, I will definitely be going back there.

Das Tropical Beach ist quasi die letzte Unterkunft an der Ostküste und liegt sehr entspannt und idyllisch an einem sehr schönen Strand. Direkt an der Unterkunft ist es etwas felsig, bei Flut kann man da aber auch gut schwimmen. Rd. 300 Meter weiter wird der Strand aber schön sandig und ist steinfrei. Es ist hier insgesamt super ruhig, nicht voll und sehe schön. Gerade morgens und abends war es super entspannt. Das Resort liegt sehr schön direkt am Wasser unter Bäumen, die Bungalows sind auch Beton und daher durchgängig recht kühl. Haben durchgängig keine Klimaanlage gebraucht. Die Ausstattung ist funktional, bequemes Bett, Wasserkocher etc. Innen wäre lediglich eine zusätzliche Sitzmöglichkeit, draußen vielleicht noch eine Hängematte gut gewesen. Die Bungalows liegen recht seit auseinander, von den anderen Gästen bekommt man daher fast nichts mit. Die Anlage ist gepflegt, Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und kompetent. Parken ist direkt vor dem Resort im Schatten möglich. Durch die Lage sollte man motorisiert sein (Roller oder Auto), da es wirklich am Ende der Insel liegt. Im direkten Umfeld gibt es am Strand und im "Hinterland" einige sehr nette Restaurants, einen Minimarkt etc. ATM oder so gibt es aber nicht, Taxi muss man dort hin bestellen (lassen), wenn man in andere Ort möchte. Die Anfahrt vom Hafen ist über die steilen und kurvenreichen Straßen toll. Sehr netter und hilfsbereiter Inhaber, der zeitgleich mit uns da war. Kleine Abzüge wegen der oben angesprochenen Dinge im Bungalow, die es noch gemütlicher gemacht hätten. Dazu einige Dienstleistungen vielleicht etwas überteuert (Laundry oder Beistellbett zum Beispiel), aber am Strand und den Wegen dahinter gibt es einige Orte, wo z.B. Laundry für 1/4 des Preises möglich ist ;-) Insgesamt hatten wir 6 tolle Tage in diesem schönen Resort und können einen Aufenthalt voll umfänglich empfehlen. Vorausgesetzt, dass man es ruhig und entspannt haben möchte ;-) vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit!

Dans le sud de l’île. Bungalow en bord de plage très propre. La plage est grande et en sable. L’accès à celle-ci se fait entre deux poteaux car il y a quelques rochers seulement au bord. Le personnel est adorable. L’endroit est super calme. Le seul bémol mais qui n’en est pas vraiment pour nous. Les taxis collectifs sont à aller chercher en bout de plage.
