클리프 란타 스위트(Cliff Lanta Suite-Koh Lanta Krabi)

Booked through trip.com because of the beautiful photos of the view and bath on the balcony. Unfortunately, this soon turned out to be a scam on arrival. The hotel has suffered quite a lot over the years, little to no maintenance and the room itself was very disappointing. Dirty furniture with unexplained stains, poor hygiene and heavily outdated. used flip flops in the room... After contacting trip.com, we were asked to ask the hotel manager for a refund ourselves. He shot completely in Defence mode at our request. No other rooms available, no plans to find a solution and a refund was anything but possible. After we made it known that he left no choice but to give a bad review, he started screaming and we left because we feel unsafe. +€400 down the drain. So be careful before booking this hotel. We are now looking with trip.com to see if we can still get a (partial) refund.

房間有陽台，直面海景，風景不錯，服務也超級好，但沒有泳池和其它娛樂設施，周圍沒有便利店、餐館和集市，出行很不方便，和隔壁酒店共同享用沙灘，去海灘的樓梯有點陡，爬上爬下蠻累的。

We enjoyed our stay. Beautiful view of the ocean from our balcony. The restaurant was a bit expensive and it was a bit of a walk to other places to eat.

We stumbled upon this place by coincidence, and we are so happy and satisfied with it! Spectacular (!) view over the sea with the sunset from the balcony. Alice, who manages the place, speaks decent English and is very friendly, accommodating, and helpful in planning various things. She is great! We visited the place during the low season, which is why we were the only guests there, but nonetheless, Alice and the other staff provided outstanding service. Breakfast was ordered the evening before to ensure fresh ingredients. Very delicious! The place is located a bit away from the city center, but definitely within walking distance. However, we still decided to rent a scooter. Alice was also helpful with this. The room we stayed in was almost embarrassingly clean, and there was ample storage space. The bathroom was spacious and had excellent bathing facilities. The air conditioning worked well. And once again... an incredible view. Gazing out over the sea from the bed. All in all, it was a fantastic stay, and we would have loved to stay there for more days.

staff in the kitchen were very nice and helpful but the food was very limited. The administrative staff was horrible. The male manager asked inappropriate questions of my Thai fiancé while I was not present. Further, They told me I did not need to give my passport to a motorbike rental company that they would keep it on site for me , but they essentially lied and the rental agency took my passport off premises. It was understandable, but then the manager made no point of making sure that passport got back to me before I was scheduled to leave the hotel and return to my home country. we ended up having to wait some 40 minutes for the passport to be driven back to the hotel, even though the manager knew what time I was leaving. She seemed to be completely unconcerned by the whole episode, and when I approached her with my disapproval, she said you can write a review online if you had trouble with your service. I think her name was alese.

Lovely small 8 room hotel set high above the sea. Exceptional views from both room and restaurant. Most comfortable bed. Great staff but be prepared for some miming to makeup for their lack of English. Cook does an excellent breakfast. For a 3 star hotel has an excellent restaurant, if a bit pricey.
