Magical! If I had one word to describe my stay it would be magical. Upon our arrival to this hidden gem, we were greeted by Linda. She welcomed us into this gorgeous home, built by her husband Greg, tucked away in lush greenery. It's far enough away to feel comfortably private, but close enough to beaches, shopping and landmarks like the Wright Brothers Museum. The room was beautifully decorated, impeccably clean, and had a tempurpedic mattress and pillows, but my favorite part was the balcony! A relaxing swing, table and chairs, and what a view!!! I can't believe all the wildlife I was fortunate enough to see right off the balcony- cranes, does, bucks, raccoons, and so many birds. If you like to kayak, paddleboard or ride a bike, all are available here. Greg and Linda were delightful hosts, very knowledgeable about the area and they did everything possible to ensure we had the best vacation. TLDR: Stay here!!! You will LOVE it!

Welcomed by Greg and easy to find with GPS. Five minute drive from Kitty Hawk center. House built by a skilled craftsman. Our room on second floor with individual air con. Clean bathroom with two sinks and strong water flow shower. Small fridge. Breakfast in room on table. Porch comfortable in the morning. Good recommendations from Greg on dining. Tesla charger in front for overnight charge. Relaxing two night stay!

The property is very run down and not clean. It has a nice view but obstructed by overgrowth. It might have been a nice home in its time. Many stairs to property that can be a problem for some. Would not recommend,

For those looking for a quiet and peaceful place to stay, this is a perfect choice. The owners of the property are very kind and welcoming. Check in was very casual and easy, and I enjoyed the views of the sound. They made sure everything was tidy and clean for guests. Very good choice for those who want something different than a hotel stay.

This property is exactly as advertised. Not a big swanky hotel, but a beautiful, quaint house in gorgeous wooded surroundings. Our thanks to owner, Greg, who made it feel like we were just visiting a friend.

Friendly helpful staff Wonderful house but the antique furniture in the living areas was not comfortable A little declutterring would make the feel of the areas more inviting and help keep the focus on the Sound The site is lovely and I loved sitting out on the deck off our room and enjoying the view I recommend it for the character of the inn and location and friendly innkeeper

What a lovely home. Staying there is like something out of a Nicholas Sparks novel. My husband and I stayed a weekend to celebrate our anniversary, and it was a wonderful experience. Do not hesitate to book this unique venue.

Greg & Linda were the best hosts we could’ve asked for! Their home is beyond lovely and they made us feel welcomed our entire stay. The rooms are well cared for, spacious, and comfortable. There is a beautiful sunrise and sunset view from their balcony and dock and we were even able to see deer and otters. Additionally, they didn’t hesitate to share local recommendations with us which was so helpful. Thank you Greg & Linda we will definitely be returning!

A nice romantic stay. Only negative is you can hear the bridge traffic from the rooms.
