마리카스 부티크 호텔(Marica's Boutique Hotel)

To flee! Nothing was right. Nothing looks like the photo! We arrive at the hotel at 8:30 p.m. we are only entitled to cold food, impossible to heat (by asking the lady at the reception). We see on our homepage that the bar is open until 1 a.m. but in fact it is not at all the case it is closed all the time. Breakfast in the morning, there is practically nothing to eat, nor orange juice at times (horrible orange juice). The toaster only works sometimes. The hot chocolate in the machine just makes hot water. In the morning sometimes there are just cereals and only salty. The pool is dirty, the stairs are broken. There is not even a cushion on the outdoor canopy beds. The walls of the hotel fall into ruin outside no maintenance. The restaurant in the evening only 5 cold dishes to offer. Just one evening a gentleman made us eat HOT and it was good. The decoration of the restaurant has nothing to do with the photos, there is no effort. So let's talk about the room! A real disaster, I've never seen that. The kitchen is not arranged at all, there are not even tables or chairs! The sofa is very very dirty. The air conditioning does not work, as does the telephone and some lights. In the bed full of hair and hair, with a very dirty plaid of very suspicious traces on it and holes. Bedside lamps, there are not even bulbs and are broken (they fall). The super dirty box spring and mattress under suspicious stains everywhere! The horrible mattress we feel the springs. Room on the road side much too noisy. Household people do not have enough household training because they just sweep (not everywhere), when you are there! Or when we weren't there, the door remained open! The bathtub faucet does not close properly and we rarely had hot water! Window filled with humidity. The flushing does not work every time. The toilet brush is a calamity. The cupboards are broken. The bay window on the living room side has a lot of trouble opening, not fixed we lift it. Price far too excessive, and it's not a hotel that deserves stars! The director didn't want to hear what she was told, she said there was worse. She never wanted to reimburse us at least part of it, for her her hotel is perfect. She even came to see us to avoid making a scandal because other people were also complaining about her hotel. We stayed 4 days, thank God! It looks like a hostel rather than a hotel, and again! If you don't want to put your money in the air, don't go!

No hot water, racist abuse staff chased us out after promising refund.bulled & threatened for asking for basic amenities they didnt provided. Hotel is dated,dirty, full of cockroaches & lizards, staff is super rude, unhelpful, tv didnt work, no wifi, sliding door stuck, no curtains, cob webs, no hot water, leaking taps, blocked sink, lamps didnt work, broken mouldhy shelves, kettle didnt work, phone didnt work It doesn’t work a star, its not a safe place.beware the negative reviews are real

Absolutely horrible place in Paphos. Not sure from where to start. It’s more like a refugee camp! Broken shower, tv doesn’t work, damp walls which kept flaking off the bed, bar doesn’t stock chilled wine, no ice, balcony door can only be opened by a muscle man, dirty room, run down hotel and when one complains, the staff makes fun of you and takes you for a ride. Hotel should be shut down. Fit for animals. Do not stay in this place . It’s a nightmare and very mediocre. HORRIBLE!!!!!!

It is hard to know where to begin - dirty, ramshackle, pool disgusting, food inedible, piles of dust in the bathroom behind the door, a visit from pest control, staff a collection (during my visit) of Romanian work experience kids and one barman who appears to enjoy his work. Just avoid like the plague. I had stayed there two years ago and it was pretty poor then but things have deteriorated enormously. My list of things is long - I am not an habitual bad reviewer - but this was beyond any kind of reason. The hotel has a nice situation is the best I can say for it.

Although the reviews on Tripadvisor were concerning, we decided to go ahead with it anyway, as it was the cheapest hotel and nearest to all of the restaurants, sites, and beaches we wanted to visit. However, once we got there, we did not regret it one bit. It was a beautiful hotel with incredibly welcoming staff, especially Iroula. The pool facilities were very clean, and the outside area especially was stunning. Would definitely recommend if youre looking for value for less money hotel.

Stayed here on a room only basis for 6 nights in June, apartment was very spacious, clean and the views were amazing. Check in was quick and easy. Cleaners came in everyday, were very polite and did a great job. Location is right next to the main bus route. Yes it's very basic but for what we paid, it's exactly what we needed.

The worst part of it all was the unpleasant treatment by the staff. I witnessed instances where the staff members were impolite and dismissive towards guests. I was shocked by the lack of respect and professionalism displayed by these employees.

After looking at other people’s comments here I was afraid that this place is a scam and it was a mistake to book our accommodation here but I was pleasantly surprised when we got there . Everything was clean in our room and downstairs in the lobby and in the garden area as well . Some people say there are bugs everywhere but I haven’t seen one and the shower was working perfectly with good water pressure and the food was super delicious and hot and there was enough variety. My favourite thing about this hotel is the staff , they are super hospitable and kind and they always made sure our stay was going well ! The location is also good , just a few minutes walk to the nearby Potima Beach but there is a bus that can take you to Coral Bay or to Paphos area . After all this is a 3 star hotel , of course if you want luxury you can go to 5 star hotels and pay more but for me it was a lovely stay here and I can’t wait to come back .

Immigrants live in this hotel. Rooms are dirty and smelly, last cleaned probably a year ago. No hot water AT ALL! We canceled it and demanded a full refund. They were lying about being in contact with a booking site and the feeling was that I will not see a single cent from them back. Next morning I tried to talk to them one more time, but without any luck. Called the police and then magically I got a full refund within a 15 minutes without a police even stepping a foot in a hotel. 30 seconds later they saw a police car, I got my e mail confirmation of full refund. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
