Beautiful hotel perfectly located a stone throw away from Killarney city centre. Friendly staff & fantastic service at both check in & breakfast. Will definitely stay here again & highly recommend.

Nice stay.

Stopped in for Lunch. Delicious. Great service - especially from Selina. Excellent quality food, very nicely presented. Tastefully decorated room in a very well preserved classical building. Selina went ‘beyond the call of duty’ to make sure we were well looked after. It was a very pleasant visit.

Friendly greetings at the entry to helpful Front Desk- helped with parking bags and directions to town. And with Ferry ticket purchase. Nothing was too much to do. Lovely staff. Stunning hotel. Loved the breakfast setting and food. Wish we could have stayed longer.

My Husband and I are just back after a wonderful break at Great Southern Killarney. It was a fabolous experience, we really enjoyed our stay there. We had a gorgeous room with a fabolous view of lovely lawn and gardens. Staff were so lovely and helpful and from the minute we stepped inside the hotel to the minute we left the place we felt at home. We had a truly great experience and we definitely intend to return. Celebrated my husband’s birthday with a stay at the Great Southern Hotel. Five star experience from the moment we checked in. Superb staff, sumptuous surroundings, fantastic food. One of the best hotel experiences ever. Felt relaxed revived and refreshed after our stay.

Excellent hotel very well managed with the staff going about the business in a very efficient way. The food is good, and the location is excellent room is clean and roomy. Good transport logistics, large car park, minutes walk from railway station and bus depot. Kerry airport a few miles away. A hotel with loads of history in every central loaction.

Overpriced. Housekeeping performance hit and miss. Breakfast good. Service polite but not especially friendly or welcoming, with the one exception of the lady restaurant supervisor. Hotel staff in general were very friendly and helpful.

A true delight! From the beauty and classic style of the hotel itself to the amazing hospitality and service from the staff, to the food and drink that was superb, we had the trip of a lifetime. Evelyn, JP, Sean, Kathleen, and Bibi are just a few of the outstanding managers and staff who made our stay such fun. Above and beyond service, a beautiful hotel in immaculate condition and a setting on grounds that are stirring. 7 out of 5 Stars?
