Khaosok Good View Resort

Highly recommend this gem of a property tucked away into the jungle. It’s so peaceful and Mr Bao is an amazing host The food is cooked to order and the menu is very extensive. The fresh cut fruit with breakfast was so delicious Wish I could have stayed longer!

Thailand is known of its kindness and hospitality and this is surely something you're going to find in Good View Resort. Mr. Bao treats his guests more like friends visiting his house than just guests at the hotel. He's very kind and helpful. He's always ready to drive his guests to the village, he leaves umbrellas right at your doorstep when it rains, he gives you bread to feed fish while you're waiting for the pickup for your tour. He's always willing to teach you new Thai words or introduce you to his pet Big Buddha - a big female toad living under the fridge.:) The rooms are very clean and well-supplied. Homemade thai food available on site is just delicious - we tried plenty of different dishes and everything was a blast. The prices are very affordable, while it would be easy to wind them up, given the secluded nature of the hotel. Similarly, the breakfast is huge, fresh and tasty. The resort is beautifully located among the nature and the view to the twin limestone rocks is just astonishing. It's a perfect choice for the people hesitant about jungle bungalows (spiders!) but still craving for lush greenery. You're going to fall asleep with a background "jungle music" coming from your balcony. I wish I could have stayed there longer!

We stayed for 3 nights. Comfortable and clean stay in the jungle surrounded by all the noises especially in the evenings and at night. Staff being very hospital and helpful. Especially thanks to Mr. Bao for making everything happing, including his daily teachings of Thai. Also offering a nice variety of tours, we’ve been doing the full day lake tour which is highly recommended, also went to the National Park. This premise is also closely located at the National Park, 5 minutes by car. Also has a nice swimming pool. Excellent food - Thai or just a pizza - is being served till 7:30 PM.

Staying for 4 nights, absolutely beautiful location. Accommodation is great with fantastic views from your open air balcony. Food is very tasty, staff are really helpful and polite. Bao and Oi really nice!

One of the best accommodations we‘ve ever been to on all our travels! The owners are the nicest people offering authentic hospitality, nice and very clean rooms with AC, the yummiest food and drinks (fresh watermelon and pineapple shakes) at very low prices, organize transfers, laundry service, fantastic tours which are always on time and are there for their guests all the time! Our kids where even allowed to prepare their own banana pancakes for breakfast. Mr. And Mrs. Bao are so nice to all of the guests even having the patience to teach us some Thai. Our kids ran to the reception/ restaurant first thing in the morning in their pjs to say hello and didn‘t want to leave after 4 great days! We cannot express how grateful we are that we‘ve found this place! Thanks for everything!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Good View. Mr Bao was incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. Our family room consisted of two large bedrooms, both with en-suite, connected by a large balcony. Everything was clean and very well maintained. The air con was very effective, which was fortunate in the heat! The pool is relatively small, but as we had it to ourselves the majority of the time, it was perfect. Mr Bao was happy to deliver us drinks and fresh fruit shakes whilst we were there. The restaurant is reasonably priced, and the food is delicious, catering to fussy children and people who enjoy good Thai food as well! The complimentary breakfast offered a number of choices which kept us all happy. Couldn't recommend this place more, we felt so welcomed and well cared for.

The team that run the Good View are first class and cannot do enough to make your stay as good as possible in every aspect. I send a big thanks to Mr Bao and the team for this. The resort is small (in a good way), well maintained and high level of personalised service. I could not recommend highly enough.

We wanted to visit Khao Sok national park and were unsure how to do it. If you are unsure yourself, this is an excellent way to do it. There are only five rooms here, so book early. Located in a jungle setting with elevated walkways, this is a unique place to stop. The rooms are fine, clean with a great balcony and an awesome view. There is a really good pool too. Set just above the flora and fauna of the jungle, it was a great experience to cool off in the oasis of the swimming pool. Best of all, this place has the best, most helpful owner/ manager you could imagine. He speaks good English and has an extensive list of trips and contacts to ensure you have a great time. Breakfast is really good, and you have a choice of staying in or venturing out. Surprisingly there is a busy ***** of bars and restaurants on the road towards the national park. The manager will drop you off and pick you up from there if you so desire. We did both in our two day visit. Our meal at Good view resort was superior and a lot cheaper. We did two trips, the night jungle hike, which, personally, I wouldn't recommend. Too many people walking through the jungle with torches, not enough wild life to see. The other trip to Cheow Lan Lake was great. Amazing landscape and time to relax in the afternoon. Recommended. So look no further, this is the place to choose if you venture to Khao Sok national park.

Mr Bao and Mrs Boss were indeed fantastic hosts. Marvellous location for the National Park treks, very picturesque and tranquil. The room and food have been simply wonderful and we had all the help we needed with booking our trips & lifts, recommendations for the local area and even a crash course in Thai. Highly recommend this place!
