카오락 포레스트 리조트(Khaolak Forest Resort)

Stayed there briefly for 2 nights. I would say this is a pretty decent hotel / resort, which basically ticked off most of my boxes. The place is relatively new I think so facilities wise, most stuff seems kinda new. Staff are relatively friendly & helpful. Room are well kempt & clean. However, there're a few things which I think can be improved upon: 1) I requested for low & soft pillows in my booking, but was given 2 high pillows instead. 2) Think the management shld look into the drainage in the shower, as it don't seems to work too well & tend to choke abit. 3) Since its near the forest behind, there're quite a fair bit of mosquitoes arnd the place.

A well presented hotel. Would have rated it a 5 but due to location couldn’t. The pool villa is immaculately presented, spacious, bright, well designed, clean and fresh. Separate sower room/bathroom. Separate dressing room area, internal sitting room area and patio doors leading out to patio where you have seats and a lounger with direct pool access. All said the pool is more decorative than anything else as only knee deep but there is a large main pool a few steps away for a good swim. A good breakfast is served in a nicely appointed dining area although for once no egg station. There isn’t a bar or pool bar either. Staff so friendly and FC welcoming. Beautifully designed gardens surround all areas allowing for good privacy. It is a good 25 - 30 minute walk to the beach at La Flora hotel (a challenging walk in the humidity) and you have to cross the busy main road. Numerous excellent local Thai restaurants on the doorstep of the hotel. A very enjoyable and relaxing stay - would recommend and likely stay again.

The hotel itself is really good and especially the pool villa one of the best stays. However the main receptionists was among the worst in 90 days travel of Thailand. The attitude was arrogant and petty. First they promises us a room but forgets to mention that our kod sleeper in our bed. Hence they charge 825 baht for an ekstra bed! Also it is not possible to get ekstra sheet unless you pay 50 baht in cash. Also they were almost falling Down their Seat when we Said that our son peed our own blanket. They seemed very suspecious and called cleaning to double check that their bed wasnt hit. They threatenned me if their ved was hit another time. Seems like they dont know how to approach a costumer. Besides the 2 receptionist the cleaning personal was so lovely that we Will never forget her. Also the third receptionist helper was very Pleasant. Location fine near Bang niang market- do rent a vehicle because the Big Road is very depressing to walk

This hotel is so very lovely and tranquil with beautiful plants that are tended to daily. Very clean allover. We had a wonderful villa with access to the shallow pool which we would book again anytime. The small dressing room is a great addition. It takes about 25 minutes to walk to the beach and about 10 minutes to the market and the centre of Bang Niang. There are several good and inexpensive restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. Breakfast was nice and absolutely sufficient for us. We loved the little outside breakfast area. The resort also has a separate bar (Mango Bar) by the roadside run by a very friendly older couple. You can get everything from cocktails to small Thai meals here. All staff were super friendly and attentive. Tony and Kung from reception were so welcoming whenever we returned to the resort during the day. We have been travelling to Thailand for 25 years, staying from 2-star to 5-star places. We can definitely say that the Forest Resort is a fabulous smaller hotel with perfect value for money. We felt very comfortable and will definitely return to this peaceful haven when staying in Khao Lak the next time. We hope it will not change and stay just as it is now.

Superb!! Very pretty gardens which is well maintained the scent from the flowers was amazing. We were shown all the rooms and they were all immaculate, so clean, furnished to a high standard and a good size. We stayed in one of the villas it was just stunning. Staff were very good and welcoming, restaurant staff could engage more. The great breakfast debate! We felt there was plenty to choose from and it was regularly topped up. They only thing I would have liked to see was yoghurt. I believe this resort is more suited to adults and not young children.

This has been our favourite stay this holiday (and we’ve stayed at numerous places!)

Hôtel ou il vous faudra un véhicule ou un scooter, il y a un parking disponible également. Hôtel avec une propreté au niveau des chambres irréprochable, serviette de bain et piscine changé chaque jours. Lit confortable et chambre et salle de bain assez grande. Super balcon très cosy et le top du top restera les jardins avec les piscines, un décor magnifique des l entrée de l hôtel avec les grenouilles qui vous accueil. Le petit dej est quand à lui basic rien d exceptionnel, il n y a pas de restauration ni de bar.

Wir werden das Hotel wieder buchen! Preis-/Leistung für Pool-Access Zimmer stimmt und Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Top für Urlauber die viel auf eigene Faust erkunden (wir hatten bereits 2 Roller im voraus durch das Hotel reservieren lassen). Sehr faire Preise für Mofas, Wäscheservice direkt im Hotel. Frühstücksbuffet ok.

ติดถนน แต่เงียบ ไม่ไกลจากตลาดบางเนียง ที่พักสไตล์โฮเต็ลรีสอร์ท สะอาด เรียบง่าย ล็อบบี้โปร่ง โล่ง สวนตกแต่งแบบผสม มีต้นไม้และไม้กระถาง ดูร่มรื่นดี สระว่ายน้ำยาวตรง เหมาะสำหรับคนชอบว่ายน้ำจริงๆ มีสระเด็กและที่นั่งริมสระ ห้องพักชั้นบน ขนาดกว้างพอเหมาะ ระเบียงมีเบาะยาว และเก้าอี้เอน มีราวตากผ้าให้ ห้องชั้นล่าง พูลแอ็คเซส ส่วนวิลล่ามีสระน้ำหน้าห้อง เป็นน้ำตื้นๆ สำหรับนั่งแช่ขา ในห้องมีชา กาแฟ กาต้มน้ำร้อนให้ ห้องที่พักท่อระบายน้ำจากชาวเวอร์ระบายช้า พนักงานรีบกุลีกุจอช่วยแก้ไข พนักงานน่ารักทุกคน ใกล้ๆโรงแรมมีร้านอาหารท้องถิ่น ชื่อร้านครัวอุดม พี่อุดมเคยเป็นพ่อครัวโรงแรมมาหลายที่ อาหาร 5 ดาว ราคาธรรมดา พักโรงแรม 4 คืน เป็นลูกค้าทุกเย็น ลองสั่งนอกเมนูดู ผัดใบเหลียงไข่ ฉู่ฉี่เนื้อปลามง ผัดหอยลาย เป็นไซซ์ยักษ์มาก อร่อยจริงๆ ใบเหลียงต้มกะทิกุ้ง กุ้งตัวใหญ่กำลังกิน อร่อย ส่วนอีกหนึ่งร้าน ครัวนายอั๊ง เสียดายที่ร้านหยุด เลยไม่ได้ชิม
