We had a wonderful time at this beautiful resort a few weeks ago! The 3 rd floor suite was well appointed with full kitchen, ocean view balcony with a grill. Housekeeping serviced it daily. Pool was stunning and very quiet. Beach was lovely with great service. Fitness center was small but we got our workouts in. There was a small restaurant that served breakfast and dinner but most nights we walked down the beach and found places to eat as the sun set. The town and shops were a 10 minute walk away. They have bikes you can take out to ride if you like. We will definitely be back to this stunning resort on beautiful Grace Bay beach!

Our large family of multiple adults and 3 children stayed at the Somerset at Grace Bay for a week this June. I selected it due to the great reviews and the zero entry pool. We booked the 3 bedroom residence which was very spacious and very much met our needs. It had a kitchen and large living space and four bathrooms. It was so close to the beach and the pool it made the whole vacation so easy. I loved that the resort was smaller. Most of the staff was excellent: Stevonya, JuanCarlos, all of the wait servers every morning at breakfast, Foster etc. We had issues with the pool chairs. AJ and Colin, the two employees at the pool, were reserving up to 11 chairs as early as 5:00 am for 1- 2 other families. There are only 15 chairs by the main family pool. We finally went at 5:20 am to try to get chairs because all but two were saved by 7 am. When we did that, the chairs were already saved. Furthermore, originally we were told we could not sit in any chairs that had towels on them, and it was first come first serve- on day one. One day, when I asked at 2 pm if I could sit in a chair that had been empty all day, so as to have an umbrella chair, I was told no by AJ, and that the guests reserving the 7 chairs were on an expedition and eventually would be back. They came back at 4 pm. The chairs were empty all day. By the end of the week we inquired to the concierge, who told my husband no- the chairs do not get saved all day. He said after an hour the pool employee should remove the towels. So, if you do stay here, which I highly recommend, please take note and know that if someone is not in the chair for an hour, it is available to you. What we loved was the Pool though! I stayed here specifically because we had little ones and I wanted a zero entry pool, and it is lovely! They have floats too, available. The pool temp was great. You can order food and drinks around the pool, and it was all excellent. On day 6, I read a review that they had free water bottles at the pool, which I never saw, but finally I asked and received one. The chairs are comfy both at the beach and the pool. The cocktail reception was fabulous.Sharon who runs the kids club is a GEM. We asked to join her kids club session one day while they were hunting for lizards and she provided a net for our four year old. The complimentary HOT breakfast was outstanding-and it was quick. Standouts were the banana bread and the sausage. We were always full! We used the paddle boards and kayaks, and they were great, too. We will happily stay at the Somerset next time we visit Turks And Caicos.

Stayed in a 3 bedroom villa. Steps from the pool. Super short walk to beach. Villa was gorgeous. Housekeeping every day. Staff was super friendly. Only two places to eat at the resort but both had great food. Plenty of places to walk to. Have never seen water like Turks! Make sure to do a boat tour and see Iguana Island!

We stayed at the Somerset for 4 nights in May with our 16 year old and 19 year old. My husband and I had been there before back in 2010 so it had been awhile. It was a fantastic trip and the people at the Somerset really make it special. We arrived to a rainy afternoon but made the best of it. The next morning we noticed the air conditioner was not working which was not good. It was pouring down rain so when maintenance came, he said he wouldn’t be able to fix it. He was super nice. They moved us into the sterling house on the first floor with pool view and a little ocean. This is the room category I would choose if I go back. The garden views rooms are fine but it’s not that much more money to get a room in sterling house and totally worth it. I think a lot of the rooms in the garden view have a lot of steps and I prefer a one level. After the rains ended and we got settled into our new room, all was perfect. You really can’t beat this resort. We looked at ritz Carlton and Beaches and those are so nice but expensive and busy!!! The Somerset never felt super packed and busy which is what we were looking for. Lots of growth happening on Providenciales. So much change since 2010. I sure hope it doesn’t lose that small island feel. Highly recommend the Somerset!

Our stay at the Somerset was amazing. The staff who we have met in prior visits continues to impress. The food at both the beach bar and Barbetta is great! We love the spacious rooms and the rest of the amenities at the Somerset. We can’t wait to go back!!

The suite was so comfortable with plenty of space and fully equipped with every convenience you need. It was immaculate when we arrived, and we were able to check-in right away (a couple hours earlier than stated check-in time). The concierge and front desk people are very friendly, as are the cleaning people and people in the poolside cafe. Some of the beach attendants did not always seem thrilled with requests, but we were able to get chairs and towels without issue. I would agree with other guests that it would be nice to have more breakfast options. If they increased to just two different choices, I think it would make a big difference. However, the portion sizes are plentiful, so you will not be hungry after breakfast. There are paddle boards and kayaks and snorkeling equipment available for use at the beach, which is nice. The beach is beautiful. If I were being picky, I would say it would be nice to move the two boats that are in the Somerset beach area. They are taking up space. Also, there is a business taking photos immediately adjacent to the Somerset Beach that has drones in the air all day. It is a bit of a nuisance. Other than that, it is very peaceful and beautiful. There are some good restaurants in walking distance (we liked Grace's Cottage, Parallel 23). We definitely hope to come back here!

We went with our 22 year old daughter and her Boyfriend And we had an amazing week at the Somerset resort. The staff was extremely awesome and very friendly. The grounds are incredibly maintained and beautiful. The pool for gorgeous with beautiful views of the ocean. We never had any trouble finding chairs at the beach or at the pool. The beach in Turks are the most beautiful we have ever seen and we simply had the best week ever.

We have been to Turks many times and our stays at The Somerset have been amazing. The grounds and pools are well kept and the beach is quiet. The service and staff is excellent ( a 10+++ ). They make you feel right at home and are always there to help with any need you may have. It is truly a wonderful experience to vacation at the Somerset. The Somerset on Grace Bay is an exceptional place to stay at. I have stayed here 10 times and would not go to any other place. The staff is truly outstanding and go above and beyond my expectations every time I stay there. From the booking process with Stevonya, she truly makes it a seamless experience and always a pleasure to work with her. She is amazing at what she does and her attention to detail is incredible. Foster, Winston, Billy and the rest of the crew are the best! They always welcome me with a heart warming smile and make sure everything is always in order from assisting with restaurant reservations to helping with groceries. The housekeeping staff work so hard and always leave the room in pristine condition. Nadine and Mr. Bigs at the pool bar are also amazing. The food is delicious, the drinks are extraordinary and their laughter and friendless is contagious. I travel with my husband who has mobility issues. Loxsley and Bernard on the beach are always there to give us a helping hand. These guys are amazing. They all hold a special place in my heart. As far as improvements go, breakfast although good could use some changes to the menu and a bit more organization. You need to provide a breakfast voucher every morning. This makes no sense to me because prior to a few years ago, it wasn’t needed and I felt as though things were more seamless then. Lastly, the rooms although spacious and clean, really do need to be modernized. The furniture and rooms itself are outdated and could really use some sort of makeover. To all the staff at The Somerset, you guys are the best. Stay here, you won’t want to go anywhere else.
