타라 팜(Tara Farm)

We stayed at the estuary at Tara Farms in Kenmare. The views are beautiful and the B&B is lovely. It was very clean and perfectly maintained, everything looked fresh and new. There was plenty of space, a kitchen and W/D. There was seating outside to relax and enjoy the amazing scenery. It’s a short walk down the road to the town past beautiful homes and cows and chickens. There are shops, pubs, restaurants and grocer’s all within walking distance. I highly recommend Tara Farms, you will not be disappointed.

A B&B as we like them. Welcoming and authentic. The hosts are charming, the rooms spacious, comfortable and with a superb view. The surrounding countryside is just superb! All the facilities are close. We highly recommend! Justine, Emma, Thomas and Théodore

I wish I could give more than five stars! We stayed with Anne ten years ago and loved it, so when we discovered our grandson was going to be in Ireland, we knew we had to take him there, as well. The view from our room was breathtaking, and we felt like we were in heaven when we got up in the morning! Anne’s hospitality (and the great breakfast!) make you want to stay forever! This was our grandson’s first B & B, and he promised that he would definitely come back to see Anne, and stay again! When you leave, you feel like you are leaving as family. Anne is so helpful with anything you need, whether it be recommendations for dinner, a cold beverage, or a vacuum for your vacuum sealed bags! Hope to not wait for ten years before our next visit!

We stayed at Seascape Lodge. This belongs to Tara Farm B&B. Because our booked B&B made a mistake. What a beautyfull surprise for us. We loved this Villa and its fantastic vieuws. And..Nice breakfast at Tara Farm. It was super....thnkx to owner Anne and staff.

Fantastic host and great B&B. We were booked for two nights and the only downside to our stay was that we didn't book an extra night . Despite arriving after the check-in time, with no notice, Anne accommodated our late arrival enthusiastically. The location is excellent, only a few minutes' walk to the town centre. There are very nice views from the house and a patio area to sit out. The rooms are very well equipped, with tea and coffee. The home-cooked breakfast was of a very high quality and there was also an array of home-cooked breads, pastries and fruit on offer. Anne is incredibly friendly and will gladly offer local advice on places to eat as well as visit. I highly recommend Tara Farm B&B and the host, Anne, to everybody!

Me and a friend stayed at Tara Farm for three nights over a weekend and it wasn't nearly enough time. The view from our room was incomparable and the service was top notch. Anne was a sweetheart and made sure we were taken care of fully. She was always excited to hear our plans and offered fun suggestions. She went out of her way to make Tara feel like a home away from home. This was my first experience at a bed and breakfast and I'm so glad it was here. Kenmare is beautiful to visit and Tara is certainly the place to stay.

This was our second time to stay at Tara Farm. The first time we stayed here we were blown away by Anne’s exceptional hospitality. Our second visit was equally as good, if not better. We travelled without the kids this time so for us this was a more relaxed stay. Anne once again was a supreme host, no request was too much. Tara farm is located about a ten minute scenic walk from Kenmare. The house itself is situated in quite possibly the most beautiful site in the locality. Our room had spectacular views of Kenmare Bay, it was a joy to open the curtains each morning. Each day we were treated to a delicious home cooked breakfast, an array of baked breads and pastries, freshly brewed tea/coffee and a delicious traditional Irish breakfast. Our room, as mentioned had the most fabulous view but was also exceptionally clean and airy and the bed was very comfortable. Parking was ample and as mentioned our host and her family fabulous. We cannot wait to return. Thanks again Anne.

I left a review on Airbnb for my experience in this B&B. For context this is what I wrote: "Anne was a great host, was a bit disappointed on the room, based on the picture, Bedroom 5 is in the Attic but we were located downstairs which didn't have the view as we expected. The breakfast was also quite disappointing, we were asked for Tea & Coffee but was not offered hot breakfast, there was no menu so weren't sure if they offered hot breakfast so we just ate the cereal and yogurt that was available. Overall, stay was okay, room was clean and place is quiet." I thought it was fair review, I was being honest about my experience. Then I got a surprise call today at work from Anne, she called me with utter frustration, threatened me that she will bring this up to her legal about my review, did not even let me talk, lied about and made an excuse about the original room reservation(never told me at the check-in that the room was actually not the one we booked), told me to never to contact her, book and recommend the place and hang up. I could only laugh as I didn't know why she got so angry at me for leaving her a constructive review of my experience, instead of apologizing and ensuring that they'll try and improve the service for future customers, she called me and lashed out. I never had dealt with someone like this before. For 2 weeks we hopped on 6 B&B, this was by far the worst experience we had as a couple.

We spent five nights in this delightful b & b. Can’t speak highly enough of it. Nice large room with a great view of the Kenmare River and mountains. Well furnished, comfortable bed, shower room where everything worked properly (either this is getting rarer or I’m just unlucky). Great choice of hot and cold foods for breakfast to set one up for the day, and such friendly people. Five stars from me.
