멜리나 오아시스 부티크 호텔(Melina Oasis Boutique Hotel)

Just got back from a 4 night stay at this hotel and we had a great time. The hotel is fabulous and spotlessly clean - it also has an amazing smell! The beds were huge and so comfy and the buffet breakfast was really high quality with lots of variety day to day. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special and nothing was too much trouble. One slight suggestion for improvement would be a full length mirror in the room, also the placement of the safe in the wardrobe made it difficult to hang longer length items like dresses.

We stayed for one week in this outstanding hotel on our third visit to Kassiopi (first stay in this hotel). This is by far the best place to stay in Kassiopi, so much so that we’ve booked again for next year. We were dropped off outside, despite being told that we would need to get a shuttle from a main drop off point. Maria on reception was waiting for us on arrival, welcomed us into the hotel, and checked us in very quickly. A member of staff from the hotel took the luggage to the room whilst we checked in and then escorted us to the room. We stayed in a suite which was a great size, with balcony facing the small side road leading to the back of the hotel. The room was clean, well equipped with everything you need for a stay. Free safe, slippers, fridge, bathrobes and more. The breakfast was brilliant. Plenty to choose from including cereals, breads, cold meats and cheese and a full hot selection. The breakfast area was bright and airy, and you could eat outside if you would like. As it is a small hotel, it was never busy at breakfast which was so relaxing. The staff on duty were so pleasant, attentive and constantly cleaning and topping up the breakfast. The pool area is small, with about 10 sun loungers and 3 huge parasols. Plenty of tables and chairs too. At this time of year, we always managed to get sun loungers each day. The pool was small and cold but it was perfect for the size of the hotel. There were little buttons on the tables that you could press if you would like to order drinks or snacks from the menu which, for a hotel, were good value. The hotel does have a full bar but nobody ever seemed to use it which is a bit of a shame as it could be a good feature of the hotel. We had one issue with the WiFi not connecting, but Maria on reception sorted this out. Nothing was ever a problem for her. The hotel is in a perfect location. 5 minutes walk to the harbour one way, 2 minutes to the main square the other way. There are lots of shops, tavernas, bars all around the hotel. Our favourites were Thraka Grill, Sousouro, Levanda, Virginias at the harbour, and Kalypso for drinks. On leaving the hotel, we were given a small gift which is a nice touch. The hotel minivan also took us to the coach transfer pick up point which was a great service. First class hotel and we can’t wait to go back next year!

We really did enjoy our recent stay at the Melina Oasis and we echo many of the excellent reviews for this hotel. Everywhere is spotlessly clean. All the staff were very friendly and couldn’t have been more helpful. Our arrival at the Melina Oasis was definitely the most welcoming we have ever had at any hotel, anywhere. The hotel is ideally situated for everything in Kassiopi, being just a short walk to The Square in one direction and The Harbour in the other. It is very handy for the many bars and restaurants in Kassiopi, but far enough away from these for them not to be a noise issue. We thought there was an excellent choice at breakfast, be it cereals, fruit, cooked food, pastries, and other ‘specials’, e.g. smoked salmon and caviar wraps. The food was very well presented and the staff were always attentive and very pleasant. There were also plenty of tables, both inside and out, so we always had a choice of somewhere to sit and never felt hemmed in, like you often do at other hotels. This all made for a nice, relaxing start to each day. The only slight minus we found was that the rear of the hotel, where our double room with balcony was situated, did suffer some noise issues. The ‘droning’ noise started around 7am and usually lasted until mid-afternoon. One day it was until 6pm. We were told that this was the ventilation/extraction system for the kitchen below. The noise had certain ‘hot spots’ within our room and also along the corridor for rooms 208 to 212, but it was most noticeable when we were sitting out on the balcony. This small minus didn’t detract much from a very, very enjoyable stay at the Melina Oasis. We wouldn’t hesitate in choosing to stay at this hotel again when we return to Kassiopi (we hopefully won’t leave it 44 years before the next visit to Kassiopi!).

Arrived at Melina oasis boutique hotel Tuesday 30th April and can honestly say this is the best hotel experience we have up to date .the staff and hospitality was amazing from the reception to the breakfast staff & cleaners all first class will be sad to leave thank you to all at the melina oasis 😍 Cliff & Christine .

I loved this place. The staff were so lovely, kind and helpful. Nothing was to much trouble, so nice to chat about their lives and family. It’s definitely a reason to return, as you felt you got to know everyone a little, somebody was always their to help, whatever the time. Breakfast was super, my favourite was Thursday morning filo pastry tart. Huge variety and all presented nicely. There was your normal standard items, also though a couple of items different everyday. Room 104 was a family room, larger single sofa bed than I had had before in other hotels. Big super king bed too. Everything is new and shiny. Black out blinds really are black out, so we used to leave them open a little so we didn’t over sleep. If I had to find a negative, it e we outdated be difficult but I guess the loo seat could be better quality but that really would be nip picking. The pool is small and so is the sun bed area, however we never struggled to get a sunbed and we often had the pool to ourselves. There are lots of table and chairs to play games, eat or just just had a shaded moment. Locally there are lots or little walks which are beautiful. It is a small village, we were there 12 days, borrowed a car to go to Corfu town and a boat for the day, which was a highlight. Lovely bakery close by, supermarket and everything else you could need.

We absolutely loved staying at this hotel. The rooms are lovely. We had two rooms one was a three bed room which is worth the extra. It had a king size bed and sofa and was a really good size. The breakfasts were absolutely lovely. Lots of choice and very chilled. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. The pool area is not big but we could get a sun bed any time of the day and the pool is great for cooling off in. It’s not a play pool for little ones though. Kassiopi itself was stunning. We will definitely come back. Thank you Melinda Oasis for making our first stay in Kassiopi so special. Our trip around the island continues and no where has lived up to our stay in Kassiopi yet.

Recently back from an amazing 8 night stay at Melina Oasis, what a fantastic place this is. The staff are so friendly, we had a hire car for a few days and were able to park in the hotel car park. We were welcomed by Maria on reception who looked after us during our stay. Breakfast was plentiful, so much choice and served 8-11am if you need that extra couple of hours in bed! Marietta was really chatty and friendly during breakfast and would also bring you drinks to the pool area during the day, quiet music is played over the sun terrace - all very chilled. The pool is quite small, but we really liked it, we had a couple of days using the sunbeds for a few hours and cooling off in the pool. Never a problem getting a sunbed and found it extremely relaxing, plenty of sun if you want it or under the large parasols for shade. We were in room 212, lovely room with large balcony and view over the pool. The room was modern and clean as shown in any pictures. All the usual facilities included, air con, safe, coffee, various pillow choices - the whole hotel has certainly been done to a high standard. Location is fantastic, literally a minute from the harbour full of shops restaurants and places for drinks. Food is fantastic in Kassiopi, we especially liked Tavernaki, even the fast food grill room opposite Illusions Bar is great (we used for a lighter lunch a few times). For drinks for more relaxed Illusions Kitchen Bar in the harbour is fantastic (family business) and then their original Illusions Bar for more fun and liveliness! If you want a great place to stay in Kassiopi, I would not hesitate to recommend Melina Oasis. Oh and you can book a massage at the hotel too…my other half enjoyed it so much she booked a second one! This seems to be a new hotel, and the maintenance is accordingly very good - clean and fresh. The hotel is not not on the beach, but on the main street - though we did not hear any noise. However, it is very close to all Kassiopi has to offer - no more than few minutes walk to every beach and restaurant. The room architecture was a bit strange -- 2 rooms with what seems to be preparation for extra doors, but instead had glass. The service was excellent and friendly , breakfast was great. The hotel has a small pool and sunbeds which we did not use.

Perfectly situated in the centre of town for the shops and restaurants with a very short walk to the harbour. It is a relatively small, modern, neat hotel; clean and with a friendly, largely female, staff. The breakfasts are buffet style with two of the staff efficiently and discretely looking after the guests, topping up food and clearing tables. We were really grateful for the air conditioning in our room as the weather was warmer than is usual for this time off year. We have to praise the receptionist who arranged a taxi to the airport for us after the private transfer we'd pre-booked through Jet2.com failed to turn up.
