Hotel Nissaki Beach

Well we were a bit worried before we left but decided to give it a go. The hotels setting is lovely but our 'Suite' is awful. Dirty bedding, floors, stained walls, furniture, hole in balcony, plaster on floors, shoddy workmanship. Really cheap and tacky furniture, our room really needs a face-lift. We complained to reception who didn't seem to care, didn't send anyone to clean room or apologise. Complained made to TUI. Drinks aren't readily available, the waitress was very rude when I asked for 2 fanta lemons because I had been travelling all day!! Major red flags so far, luckily the setting is nice so making the most. Won't be returning here. Stayed in better 2 star hotels

AVOID UNTIL BUILDING WORK COMPLETED Hotel not ready. It’s a building site still. Loads of people being transferred to other hotels as I type 04.05.2024. If you are planning to go here check the building work is finished BEFORE you travel. It’s an absolute shambles.

03/05/2024 - Oh dear, You know when you book that holiday months and months ago. It gets here, you’re on the plane, landed then on route. That’s where the holiday feeling stopped! We’ve arrived at TUI Blue Atlantic Nissaki. which is still going through construction, also requires a deep clean due to the amount of building and decorating debris that are everywhere. And I mean everywhere. The only clean, clean spots are lobby/reception and restaurant. This hotel is going through a revamp and has opened far to early and TUI should have know better than take people’s money without ensuring the hotel was ready. The pools are not in operation, hot tub, and other pools need cleaning, they smell stagnant… Hot tub… was colder than the sea but we wouldn’t get in it.. it was green. We arrived at the hotel for 3:30pm after landing at1:05pm….. Arrived at the hotel at 3:15 and we didn’t get a room until 8:30pm. When I say we got a room…. Room 301- Double Sea view room…. Whilst it looked nice in the dark. No electric to begin with, no water, this was later addressed the next day but water was very dark brown. Room had only finished drying from paint and in some areas the plaster was clearly still wet! Bathroom not finished, edging not finished grout and tile adhesive everywhere, glass, furniture floors. EVERYWHERE. Just so, so bad for £750pp for the week. Only one main restaurant, open which closed at specific times. Forget about al a carte these have not even been decorated, no floors lights no equipment. No pool snacks, but has a bar, limited. Food was ok but it’s obvious the hotel doesn’t have the staff or equipment. So after all this, in a space which isn’t even 24hrs, we’ve asked to be moved. Pictures of 304 which they were doing at 11:40pm!!

My honest review of the whole holiday. Pros : - Beautiful location, the views from our balcony were second to none. - The room itself was fine, yes it could use some tlc especially in the bathroom, and there are areas that could do with a dust but overall it was clean and comfortable. The air-conditioning wasn't too loud so we were able to keep it on overnight and slept much better! The mini fridge was stocked daily and was a nice to be able to have a soft drink or a beer when getting ready for the night! Relatively soundproof we didn't hear anyone talking in rooms next to us! - We were on the 4th floor and our room was cleaned at around 3pm each day, fresh towels daily and bedding changed every few days. - Breakfast was good, my partner enjoyed it more than me (mainly because i dont eat much on a morning) and he took advantage of the cooked breakfast items and although not hot were good and freshly made. The pancakes were especially good. - Lunch options in the outside restaurant by the pool were good and the gyros options were great, my partner had gyros everyday! I tried some of the other hot foods and whilst tasty I came to realise some of them were left overs from last night's dinner! Overall good selection - Evening meals were nice with a good selection to choose from and the dessert options were tasty with Greek desserts served each night (pretty sure I ate my weight in Baklava) - The pool area was nice and really enjoyed the cool jacuzzi, quite novel really! We sat by the main pool on 3 days and the quiet pool 2 days, the quiet pool is nice but the bar is not manned all day so if you do want a drink you need to trek down to the main bar. - The beach is rocky but we brought water shoes so no issues, beautiful clear water and warmer than the pools, you do have to pay €5 for 2 beds and an umbrella but worth it for the beautiful views and it's quiet and relaxing! - The Lobby bar and balcony we used each night before dinner and sometimes after, lovely atmosphere and staff super friendly. - The staff we had interactions with were friendly and polite and it felt they had time for you. - Coach to corfu town was a lovely treat and with it being complimentary was even better, it picks you up at 9am and it does take about 50mins to get there, picks you up at 1.30pm. Only thing is wish we got at least and extra hour as if you consider eating lunch and maybe a drink somewhere there is not as much time to explore. - Highly recommend paying a visit to Yiannis Taveran down the beach, amazing cocktails (best frozen strawberry daquiri I've ever had) food is absolutely amazing and great selection, the staff are lovely and friendly! - Al a carte restaurant was divine, food was just excellent and was nice to sit in the outside restaurant and not be bothered by wasps, we booked a 8.30pm table to ensure it was dark and wasps had gone to bed! Now for the cons : - The main restaurant if you don't want to be sqaushed and battling for food I would suggest

I booked this for me and my husband at the last minute and got a great deal. After booking it some very negative reviews appeared on here and I became concerned I had made mistake. However we had a fantastic holiday! Yes the hotel is "tired" especially the bathrooms. But who spends their holiday in the bathroom?? Our room (402) was quiet and had a fabulous sea view and was kept immaculately clean by a lovely lady. Clean towels daily and regular linen change. We found the food was excellent and of good quality at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The location of the hotel is breathtaking! The sea is crystal clear and perfect for swimming and a spot of snorkeling. ALL the staff at the hotel go above and beyond to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. We were so impressed by the warmth and friendliness we were shown and enjoyed during our stay. We want to take this opportunity to thank all the staff with a special thanks to the pool bar staff who worked tirelessly into the late evening still with a smile Give them a smile and a thank you in return it goes a long way! This isn't what you would describe as a luxury hotel but where it lacks in that area it makes up for in its Greek hospitality.....so just enjoy it!! A previous review on here mentioned giving the staff a party...we wholeheartedly agree!!!

Positives - we stayed in a swim up suite and the room was spacious and it was lovely having a pool available 24/7. - turn down service occurred everyday with towel changes happening every other. - good stock in the mini bar, which was topped up everyday and included a 1.5ltr bottle of water. - right on the beach and the sea is lovely, clear and warm (although it costs €5 for loungers on the beach, you can just stay in those at the hotel as its a 30 second walk to the beach) - staff are all polite and helpful. - a la carte restaurant was delicious Negatives - The food did get a bit samey after a few days. - There were a few cracks, parts of the hotel which could do with a bit of tlc however this didn't detract from the overall vibe - The hotel shop is VERY expensive, €3 for a crunchie. - The hotel is quite remote, although they do offer a shuttle bus to town which helps. Other comments There are wasps but it's really not too bad, generally we just didn't set outside for breakfast. We also took drinks covers which helped. There are also cats which the hotel look after and guests may feed them. They didn't bother us on the whole.

Me and my partner returned home yesterday evening after a brilliant week at Atlantica Nissaki Beach. We have been lucky enough to have stayed at a few Atlantica and TUI BLUE hotels so we were interested to see how this hotel compared, especially considering the recent poor reviews. We had a brilliant time from the moment we got there. The food was incredible. Possibly the best all inclusive style buffet food we have ever had, especially the evening meal. Never noticed a problem with watered down drinks. The staff were all fantastic. Again, we've never been to a hotel where the staff have gone so above and beyond to ensure the guests were having a great holiday. We even found the management team do get very stuck in and were again very pleasant. We loved the fact the hotel offered a complimentary bus trip to Corfu Town. We recommend getting on the 2A bus at Corfu town to see Vlacherna Monastery and go plane spotting! It was beautiful there. We personally never struggled finding sunbeds at all. We are not early risers and would often wander down at 9:30-10 and could find sunbeds by the pool no problem and on 2 occasions we went out for the morning and came back to the hotel after lunchtime and still managed to get sunbeds. We loved the added touch of the fireworks on Gala night. We enjoyed the evening entertainment throughout although the pool party was a little disappointing! Three inflatable balls and some music from a non-premium Spotify playlist that kept playing adverts! Loved all of the cats and thought it was great how the hotel looks after them. Yes there are wasps but if you get cup covers they leave you alone. Lunch could be a problem but if you swatted them away they would then leave us alone. We read reviews before coming out saying that the wasp issue was only at a problem at this hotel rather than the whole of Corfu. This is not true as we had lunch at a taverna in Agios Stefanos and the situation seemed just as bad, if not worse there. We personally liked the location a lot. The views are incredible! The only negative point we would agree on is that the hotel is quite tired in places. The bathroom in our room (518) was a little tired and also there were areas around the hotel that could do with a little refresh. But overall we had a brilliant time at Atlantica Nissaki Beach and we feel that this ranks equally to the other TUI Blue's and Atlantica's we have stayed at. We would 100% return. Ignore the bad reviews and enjoy your holiday, we certainly did!

We stayed in October 2022 and I've only just thought about leaving a review. When we first arrived I couldn't understand the poor recent reviews as the place looked lovely, however after a few hours I could see the shortfalls. This place is SUPER run down and tired, things break and are simply not repaired from obvious leaks, cracks to broken lights so its barely looking 3*. I upgraded to swim up junior suite, room was small but the view and pool were lovely, I just wish people treated it as a swim up and not a swim along as people either side did lengths and kept chatting to us while we were either in the pool or on the balcony. I'm certainly not unsociable at all but I found this very odd as I wouldn't dream of swimming right in front of someone else's balcony. Food was average, I've stayed in plenty of all inclusive hotels and wouldn't say I'm fussy, just found it average. Drinks were pretty rubbish, wine wasn't good at all. Unfortunately I got food poisoning on the 3rd day and then was out of action for 24 hours and couldn't eat much for the rest of the week. Black bin bags with laundry and dirty plates were left outside the rooms and by the stairs to our room in the new junior suite area, I have no idea if they contained fresh or soiled laundry but they were there the entire week, no one really seemed to take any pride in the appearance of the place at all and the drains behind the pool area absolutely stank, really awful! I'd come back to corfu but never to this hotel, definitely not up to a normal Tui Blu standard at all. Stunning views here and the sea and beach were great but don't expect it to be clean and tidy or in good condition then you won't be disappointed.

The best food and just a lovely holiday. We felt pampered every day. lovely area. good entertainment too and the staff worked so hard delivering drinks and chairs! very nice room and bed with balcony. had a quiet room in the main part of he hotel because of having husband who struggles to walk but he found access in main part of hotel fine.
