Beautiful place! The design and style are very unique with an old Pueblo style, and the location is great. However, it is still being renovated, and the swimming pool was not open in the summer. There should be improvement in stating that the shuttle service comes with an extra cost; it should be advertised as an option, as most stays offer shuttle services at an additional expense. The price was 200Rand, and an Uber is cheaper. The receptionist was very helpful and clear; she was super nice.

The room was clean with an en-suite bathroom. Staff were friendly. Not sure I would stay there again. Tea and coffee was not in the room but in the passage which means you first have to dress to go and make your coffee early morning. We were asked to fill in a form with our details as well for full credit card details with cvv number. These forms were lying on the desk for anyone to see as the reception desk was not occupied at all times by receptionist. With the amount of fraud in South Africa this was not acceptable to us.

We arrived late at Oliver Tambo International and was needing an overnight stay. The staff were friendly, room and bathroom was clean and comfortable. The only thing I would say was the rain on the guttering was loud.

Nothing short of shocking !!! Late pickup at airport which came with no apology First room we were put in smelt of sewerage so we were moved to an adjacent room. This adjacent room had someone in it on the bed and this person was asked to leave the room so that we could enter the room. We were expected to sleep in the unmade bed that someone had just been in so we refused. We were then taken to an outside room which was very nice and we then had a comfortable nights sleep before departing for the Airport the following morning.

It was a very lovely stay. Will book again when we return to SA for a holiday. Very beautiful and cosy.

The Airport Tower Lodge was a gem tucked it just beyond the airport. The staff were communicative, friendly, and accommodating. The gardens, pool, and dining areas looked lovely - I wish we could have stayed for longer! Next time, we will arrive earlier to take a walk around the neighboring dam.

The host was patronizing and sarcastic toward me and was trying too hard to appear to be a nice person. She also hurried me to fill up the check-in form and pressured me to indicate right there in the form if I would need meals as they are pre-ordered. I needed time to think about this well without being rushed. She was suddenly super nice when other guests arrived, even the next day when taking us to the airport where she rushed me to leave at 7:00 am since these important guests were in a hurry to catch an international flight, and yet we had agreed to leave at 7:30am. Surprisingly I had also told her that I am going to Maseru (Lesotho) the previous day, and I reminded her in the car that I am also taking an international flight to Maseru. She looked at me annoyingly and said "but it's not the same, they are going to Madagascar". I tried reasoning that yes, we will be using the same terminal and I am taking an international flight too, and these other guests actually joined me in agreement. I felt small, and disrespected, as well as my country. and lukewarm toward me with an obvious bias, and yet she treated other guests super warmly.

Beautiful view, Room was very pretty although they can work on the cleanliness, No shade for vehicle to park under but there's trees. Water pressure was very low. Toilet seat was loose, but other than that we had a good stay.

My room was like a renovated medieval Tuscan villa. From the beautiful stained glass door entrance and charming decor to the spacious bathroom, there wasn't much to not like. It had nearly every necessary amenity. Some special features included an electric blanket to keep warm and a good book to read (I was sad to not have time to finish it). Ample lighting and charging stations. Soft towels. The service was just as excellent. From complimentary pickup and dropoff from/to the airport, to the woman (sorry I didn't ask her name) at the front desk making me a breakfast fruit bowl and yoghurt for dinner to providing an umbrella for the rain, the level of service did not go un-noticed. The only minor inconveniences were the key/keyhole to the entrance were tricky to use (thus getting wet in the rain) and there was no elevator. The driver that picked me up seemed to take an unusual route before getting to the hotel, but no problem. The price and value of this stay would be hard to beat.
