Holiday from hell As soon as we checked in a SPA manger was chatting and introducing his friend as a owner of a Winter jacket store which is somewhere in town. He was asking us to make an appointment so he can take us to his store. Then he took us down to the SPA place where he showed us around and then he insisted that we pre book for the massage as we might not get a space. So decided to put €50 as a deposit for a massage in 2 days time. In the mean time I’ve won on a bingo a free half an hour massage. I took it down to him to have the half an hour massage that I’ve already won. He replied “you’ll only get 10 minutes “. So you still need to keep the booking. I said the presenter at the Bingo clearly stayed half an hour massage. So I need my deposit back. He agreed in the end to give me the deposit and I’d to wait over 7 hours to get it. After a long wait I went down and got my €50 deposit back. And he was very adamant to do a free massage. In the end I’d to make a complaint to the Animation Team manager in order to get myself booked in. And now with the restaurant, even though it says on the advert, it’s Ultra all inclusive, but when you walk into the restaurant, it’s like walking into a school canteen. Tasteless food, very limited fruits. And they were selling fresh orange juice for €1 . I’ve been asking them to get me an Iron to press my cloths for 2 days and they couldn’t get me an iron. The guest relations manger couldn’t speak a word of English, I’d to get a porter to get it translated. I’ve got no issues with Russians, they all nice people but this particular Hotel seems to give priority to them. If you’re in this hotel, never book any tours in this hotel as they’re all con artists. You can get a half price deal for tours in town. Or go online and you’ll get a better deal. For example, they quoted me to Pallukalle with lunch $75 each, where I managed to get it for $40 each for the same tour. I would rate them as 3*, certainly not 5*. Never go back there again.
