콜라벤 매너 호텔(Collaven Manor)

This has to be one of the loveliest places we’ve stayed. The house was beautiful cosy and the warmest welcome from our hosts…spotlessly clean, four poster bed. Royal doulton china in room and at breakfast and so many other beautiful touches. The grounds are pretty and a real labour of love considering this amazing couple maintain everything themselves and do everything in the house too. Breakfast very good and although very efficient in every way they have managed to give the guests a real chilled atmosphere! Well done to you both and we’ll definitely be back.

Fantastic stay , couldn’t fault anything, friendly sociable staff, beautiful building, amazing gardens, breakfast was fab, room was really really lovely, everything you needed gorgeous views out over the gardens and I’ve saved the best till last , THE BED !!!! Was the most comfortable bed I’ve eves slept in, the pillows were perfect ( we normally take our own as we’re so fussy, but theirs were perfect. Had a very memorable stay, can’t recommend this place enough, we’ll defiantly be back . Thank you .

We just felt this was going to be a lovely place as we drove down the driveway with daffodils galore either side, then to see the beautiful views from the house. We honestly could not fault this place, it was warm, very clean and comfortable. Jane and Jake are so accommodating and helpful. They seem to think of everything you need for a good stay. It's just the little things which impress like the bottled water and biscuits which are replenished everyday. The breakfast was perfect too! We have already booked to go back in June as we want to return to see the gardens at Castle Drogo and other places nearby.

What a great place to stay. Jakes and Jane are wonderful hosts making sure we were well looked after, we had an early start on Saturday and would miss breakfast, they made sure we had a packed lunch to fuel us for our walk on Dartmoor. The rooms are kept spotlessly clean and warm. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms were very quiet. Breakfast was excellent with a good selection of cereal, fresh fruit, tea, coffee, and hot food all freshly cooked. I will definitely stay here again when I’m in the area

Perfect stay! Lovely house in excellent location. So comfortable and relaxing. We will definitely come back if in the area. Great breakfast too - smoked haddock and scrambled egg a terrific option for fish eaters.

Brilliant BnB...well above the typical experience. We stayed two nights. Thoroughly satisfied, large and well equipped room, great facilities. Relaxing and quiet lounge on ground floor. The breakfast was also excellent with smoked haddock and poached egg a delight. Only one suggestion: Italian Bialetti-type espresso cafetiere with a high roast coffee would make everything perfect.

Lovely little hotel in a great location. We stayed here for a short trip into Plymouth. The rooms were clean, staff were kind and welcoming, and food was decent enough. Added bonus was that the bed was super, super comfy! Highly recommend for anyone

A beautiful Manor House set in it’s own ground. It has been well maintained, when you enter the property it has a homely comfortable feel. It is immaculately clean, and you know everything is done well with great attention to detail. There is a small bar, but you are not able to have an evening meal at the property but just down the road there is an amazing pub what offers superb dining. The breakfast at the Manor House is one of the best I have had, you eat in a pleasant dinning room. The coffee tastes lovely, I am unable to fault the breakfast. The bed was comfortable all linen of good quality

On arrival we were warmly greeted and felt very comfortable the minute we walked the door. Our room was very spacious & spotlessly clean. Breakfast was superb and plentiful. Great selection of fresh fruit and bottomless tea and coffee. You are asked to complete a form of choice of breakfast the night before, which is a good idea as there was not a single bit of waste. Our breakfasts were spot on with good quality produce. Gluten free options are available and food piping hot. I loved the relaxed feeling the Manor House has. There is a bar and a comfy lounge. The house itself is absolutely beautiful with stunning views. We would highly recommend Collaven Manor House. Our hosts were first class and we were sad to leave. PERFECT!
