A little overpriced, service not so good for such a big hotel, rooms are decent

Kathmandu is a busy city and Malla Hotel is a great spot to get away from the chaos. This is certainly where I would stay again if I was in the area. Very nice staff, enjoyable breakfast, and nice shared spaces such as the garden, pool, and bar.

I stayed in Hotel malla many times for my work. It's in great location, just few minutes walk away from Thamel. Front desk staff are very helpful and attentive to the guests needs, especially Ranjita Shrestha, she is very cooperative. All other staff takes good care of guest.They give 15 minutes complimentary messages to all check-in guest by the pool side spa. Though it is very old 5 star hotel, it seems like they are constantly improving. Rooms are comfortable and has all modern amenities. Morning breakfast is highlights, serve in their big and beautiful garden. I always enjoy my stay at Hotel Malla.

I had a great time during my stay at The Malla Hotel. Ms. Rajita Shrestha from reception was wonderful. She was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Room was spacious and hotel property has a big garden in middle of bustling Kathmandu.

Hotel location is good , average room with old decor but need a renovation in every place like lobby floors ,bathroom tiles , stairway . Room are ok but bed is not comfortable , bathroom is very small with limited toiletries,room service is irresponsive. We order water bottle but no one came even after waiting for 20 mins . Didn’t feel like staying in luxury hotel … Need a good renovation and service to meet that category.

Such a great location, lovely garden, swming pool,very friendly staff since you check in till restaurant!!! Delicious multi cushion buffet breakfast both side room with the views of garden and pool,as my perspective it is a little paradise highly recomand.

I stayed at the Malla Hotel as part of a group tour. The rooms were clean and spacious with two large bottles of water and a fruit basket in the room. Breakfast was plentiful with a good variety of foods. The hotel does have a pool. It was very clean but I did not try it so cannot comment on warmth. The location was great with easy walking to shopping, atms and restaurants. I would stay here again

Top class stay again at the Malla. Haven’t been here since 2017 I think, but great to see the renovations and upgraded rooms, really lovely. I was on the 4th floor overlooking the rather splendid gardens which are a joy to sit out in. My room had a huge double bed, brilliantly clean with all the amenities you would hope for. Bathroom even had a bath as well a very efficient shower with unlimited hot water. The housekeeping team are very efficient and friendly ladies who always have a smile and warm greeting in the morning. Downstairs the front desk and reception team are very willing and helpful and a special shout out to the guest services lady Shristi who went beyond the call of duty by taking me to find a local florist to have bouquets made up for some friends I was meeting. Shristi found me a shop, stayed with me to translate my requirements and then went back to pick them up and deliver back to me in time for the evening- top class service and attention to guest needs, thanks so much Shristi- you’re the best! Also must mention the excellent spa where I had a top class massage in a wonderful relaxing environment- maybe one of the best I have enjoyed. Breakfast I served buffet style and there’s a huge offering to enjoy from Nepali and Indian dishes to western expectations too- great service from the team there too. All things considered this is a terrific hotel at reasonable prices in a terrific location, central to the city and a two minute walk to get into the tourist area of Thamel. Staff are great, lovely environment, did I mention the bar? Yes terrific too!

It was great stay at the Malla Hotel. Wonderful staffs, great services, poolside very good, spa service was fantastic, food and drinks, cocktails were really nice, good. receptionist was really nice and did a good job on our arrivals. Waiter and Waitress did a wonderful service too us. they often came a spoke to us.Subina and Mr. Upendra did a good service to us. they kept asking if we need anything more, with a good smile. thank you, Mr. Upendra, for a great hospitality during our stay.we will definitely come back again.
